Hi,

I was having a CITI bank credit card #5546379265580017, I had made the payment for this credit card on 14-Aug-2008 after reversal of late payment charges and extra fees and I was confirmed by the bank that they will update CIBIL positively for this credit card account. The reference number for my communication with CITI is 'Citibank=008-331-274' where it is mentioned that the CIBIL will be updated positively.

However, I was continue to receive statements from CITI bank till Feb-2009 which was stopped when I again raised the complaint with CITI bank.

I have my CIBIL report with me. In this report the status of the CITI bank credit card account is POST (W/O) SETTLED which was updated to CIBIL in Feb-2009. There was no written off from CITI bank as they had only reversed some charges on my card. The last payment date mentioned in the CIBIL report is also wrong as I made the paymnet in Aug-2008 where as in CIBIL report it is Oct-2006.

Updating Written Off to CIBIL has impacted my credit history and I am not able to get any loans.

Now CITI bank is again asking Rs. 5000/- more to update CIBIL positively for this credit card account.

Could you please advice and take neccesary action.
