    Default ICIC BANK Creditr Card Wrong Bill- Trasanction - Pathetic Customer Service

    Dear Sir/Madam

    The is reagrding double swiping of one tranasaction of Rs 519.50 on my Card, I have follwoing up with the bank for the solution of the problem and refund since I received my statement.
    Till then I am unable to get any positive response form them. The transaction was an errornous one and can easily be traced and rectified, for which they are asking me to block my card.
    There is no requirement of blocking the card only credit needs to passed post verfication of the wrong trasaction, this is a normal error, even experienced by with HDFC card, but the transactions was rectified before raising any complaint.
    Morever, the stero type anwers are given to me, rather getting into the details of problem.

    I am attaching the mail script for the reference.
    Request you to lpls look into the issue and warn them to ahere properly to the customer greivances.

    Pls revert to me on the status of my complaint and refund of fraudulent transaction.

    There are series of lapses-

    I called on ICICI Customer Care on the day I got my Card Statement, the representative just tried to pass the buck on to the merchant, but not even tried to understand the fault at ICICI bank too.
    My wife visited Reliance Fresh twice and each time given a commitment for a call back with status on the same.
    After 15 Days, I had visited Reliance Fresh and to my surprise, there was nothing done on the complaint till that time and the manager ran away without updating me, and when I caught hold of the staff, they again committed to call back, and there after I had forwarded the mail received from RIL.
    I tried to contact Complaints Grievance Cell through the website twice , but received the response as they are unable to process the request each time.
    Then I escalated the matter to the Nodal Officer, where I have been asked to block my card.
    There is a erroneous/fraudulent transaction on my card date 15.10.2010, which is traceable and responsibility can be fixed the concerned, then why bank is taking so much time to accept/verify and refund the amount. and asking me to block my card, I would rather close the card.

    There have been various advertisements showing how the bank is serious/committed towards customer service, but this does not reflect anywhere in practical when any customer is in genuine trouble. Rs 519 is not a big amount and will not add to anyone much, but the attitude/urgency to get to the solution is more important in such so called esteemed organizations which in turn gives confidence and satisfaction to the customer, but Bank/RIL is failed to do so.

    If not done till today , then I am not looking for any refund now , so please do not process, as I have finally decided to take up this matter through consumer court.

    DO NOT CALL ME OR MAIL ME, NOW ALL COMMUNICATION WILL BE THROUGH THE CONSUMER COURT.
