I had complaint this twice to ICICI bank customer care with regards to surcharge been charged on HPCL card, which i had used on HPCL petrol pump.

first complaint was on 26/10/10 - at 12:30 pm - Niraj Meghrajani told me within 48 hours call back for surcharge wavier would take place, he didnt gave me the complaint no & gave an excuse that their system is having issues & cant give me the reference no for this complaint, but he havent updated that in the system which i got to know when i called up second time to ICICI bank CC.

Again in the next statement I saw the surcharge & its late payment + service charge was charged when i called again on 12/12/2010 around 1:50 pm to ICICI Bank CC - Ramesh Mali just took it as a complaint & gave me the SR160611171 "Reversal there would be interest charges".

if the HPCL petrol pump ICICI terminal machine has a problem & not working, is this a fault of a customer to pay the surcharge , again on top of that ICICI charges the late fee on that.

I have asked for the surcharge waiver from the bank, since while selling the Credit card they the telemarketer had just explained about to be used in HPCL pump & not a mandate to be swiped on ICICI bank machine.

I am looking for a waiver here & would to cancel my credit card.
