I was using a Credit Card 5543757681037055 from Standard Chartered Bank. I got a call from their customer service from Bangalore stating that my card has an issue with the magnetic strip. Which was quite surprising to me. How can the bank know that my card magnetic strip is not working. I had called up the local support and they said i dont have a choice and my card has to be replaced. I was issued a new card which was expiring in feb 10. I did not get any card after that.

I had been presented with a bill which had un reasonable charges. I tried to contact the support department so many times and wrote e-mails, which i have attached here. I was finally told that the charges were rolled back. Till today i have not got any card from SCB afterwards.

I have not been getting any statements from then on. Last month suddenly , out of the blue and then a mail threatening me of leagal action for an amount of Rs 1000 /-. Which means i have been black listed for this long for non payment which has affected by credit rating and integrity. This is a grave injustice against me and clearly pointing that there is no co-ordination with in the bank and they dont have a fool proof process in the bank which is very alarming and a security issue.
