Dear Sir/Madam,

I had an SBI Card vide card # 4006676174100910, which I cancelled on Oct. 09 2010 as I got this on the basis of FD. I needed to have my FD closed in order to get money. However, I due to this card there is an hold on my FD A/c. The concerned SBI Branch (Masjid Moth) needed an card closer letter/NOC stating this card has been cancelled in order to removed the hold.

Initially, I was told this process could take 15-20 days to have the letter delivered to the Branch. Subsequently, they given me a TAT of
0 days, then again 30-45 days. When I contacted the above Branch, the said they didn't hear anything from the card colsure department regarding the cancellation of this card.

Now, its almost 45 days since I cancelled the above card and no action has been taken as of yet. I have already escalated the issue to the concerned SBI card authorities via e-mails and had an extensive followo up on the same. However, nothing has been done on their part. Even they don't reply to may e-mails.

I am very frustrated as I need the money desperately for a highly time sensitive purpose.

I would request you to please look into the matter and help me out on this.
