Hi,

I have received my card on 13th Oct 2010 and immediately after that when I verified the benefits as promised by the Bank's authorized person, I found out that below benefits were missing from my card.

1. Free Base Fare for tickets within India – twice in a year.
2.4 Free Movie Tickets from BookMyShow.com every month ; in addition if pvrcinemas.com is used additional two tickets per month
3.35% Discount on all purchase’s at PizzaHut outlets.
4.Credit card purchase can be converted to Interest free EMI (1 year only); only 2% shall be charged for EMI conversation.

I did not even receive any call from the bank regarding explaining the benefits attached with the card and verification. This card has a one time joining fees of 3000 Rs. There is no cooling period where after receiving my card if I am not interested in that card, I could cancel the card.

Now Bank is saying that I have to pay the Joining fees even if I am not interested and false promise was made during selling of this card.

I feel there has to be something in order to save consumer's rights from these kind of big bullies. Please help and let me know what are the options I have.

Note: I do not have above benefits in written from the agent. But also there was no verification call from the bank and no one explained me the benefits associated with that card from the bank. And also is there any cooling period in which I can cancel my card without paying any charges.
