Citi bank has issued credit card to me,
card was unsigned and it was with me, in the month of aug-2008, i got a message on
my mobile on 19th evening, message was your statement has been generated the amount
was 815 ruppees, the statement date is 18 july 2008 to 19 august 2008, next morning
i called to citi bank and asked how is this possible im having card and i didnt use
this yet, how can amount come in my statement. citi customer care guy told me sir it
cud be miss used, then i said him first block my card, as per my request he blocked
and i asked him should i compalin to police. he said first we will investigate the
problem and we need 45 days after that we will tell you. then in next month
statement again i got same message and now the amount was more than 25000 ruppees,
and i checked my statement now in my statment 4 transaction were there and all
transaction was before 20th august 2008, again i called to citi bank and asked what
is this. and citi person said , these all transactions have been made in last month,
then send many mails to citi bank for give me details , and finally the have sent me
details of 3 transactions on 4 april 2009, and they have said launch compalin in
police, and you will have to pay full amount.
they also have been accepted that after blocking my card they have debit my account.
I just want to know, Is this my liablity of these transaction which i have already
blocked and not came in my proper statement.

Citi Bank Credit Cards I have a citi bank Credit card. Couple of years back citi bank card division sent me a letter which was from a magzine group. That letter claimed if I subscribe to the magzine through Citibank credit card I will get some free gifts. I subscribed to magzin, Rs. 3000 as subscription fees and many more for making phone calls and writing registerd mails. Name of the Magazine is A&M.

Citi bank Respect Sir/Mam,
I left bangalore last year with some Rs 6000 in my citi bank salary account,
I didnt used my account for more than some 9 months and Citi bank people
converted my account into saving accounts without letting me know about it.
Their new policy of this conversion came in July 2008 but it was not
informed to me about this and after conversion, they start deducting Rs 250
every month without letting me know.
I feel they are just forming rules as and when necessary and talking money
as per their wish. I talked to their department in bangalore and they
refused to give me back my money telling me that its their new rule.
Please help me.

CITI Bank Credit Card Department I was using Citibank credit card No 5546379472514007 since 09/2006. All payments during this period were made on time. I was travelling during one time and there was no facility to make payment remotely for me. I requested phone banking team member to reverse the penalty & interest charged due to delay while I was travelling. They refused to do so. I paid all my purchase payment due and asked them to cancel my card. They informed me that they cancelled the card, however I continue to receive my monthly statement with added late payment charges and interest rates. It’s been over six months now, I have been receiving daily sms payment due reminder and monthly statement. I tried to reach and clarify but they refuse to consider the case. The contact number (18004196787) which is in SMS is also not working.
Due to this I have undergone mental tension for past three months. I had written atleast three times earlier but no proper response was received.
I want them withdraw all payment due and cancel my card with immediate effect
