    Unhappy Complaint against HSBC poor credit card services

    I am having a HSBC credit card I want to file a case against the HSBC credit card services. I had credited 2600/- to my credit card on Aug 23 just because the of the bank recorded the duplicate transaction. For this I called the customer care of the HSBC bank to sort out this issue but the customer care people told me that this can not be happened. Now they call me for the payment for those trisection which I did not done at all, Is this a correct way? Am I eligible to file a complaint against them? Please advice.

    Kindly provide us your full contact details and tell your story in details so that we will guide you accordingly, and don't worry if the bank is not solving your issue then we will guide you accordingly to drag the bank to the consumer court.

    Default HSBC Credit Card Harrasment

    I am being harassed by HSBC Credit card for an amount of more than Rs 2,00000.00 though I have not done a transaction of a single rupee. Please advise how can I take action against them.

    Angry Worst and fraud credit card services

    I agree with you. this is the worst credit card services I have used. I too am facing the similar issue with my HSBC credit card.

    Default No Transparency in Customer care communication

    I am really fed up with this bank . I requested them to cancel my Card 6 months back , while cancelling none of the customer care person told " there is some due payment " and they mentioned they cancelled the card and will be effective in next 24 hrs . but when i check now they told some payment due and they not even responsible in communicating the same to my email address. when i requested a report from CIBEL then i come to know these guys charging me and when i call up their customer care person they are telling some story ...

    Surprising thing is the Amount due was due to "Annual Charges " that too for a silver card ....

    for Rs. 1000/- now i need to pay them nearly 10,000 due to their lack of communication and customer support.

    Ultimate looser is customer ?

    Thumbs down HSBC Credit Card harrasment

    Sir,

    I have been an HSBC credit card customer for three years ,which expired on Jan 2009.
    I have remitted full amount with the HSBC credit card before its expiry date. I have neither renewed the card nor i used the card after its expiry. I have settled all payments before the expiry of card.

    But after two years, they have sent me a credit card statement for clearing an outstanding amount of
    Rs.5500/- .For these two years they haven't made any calls or bill statements.

    When i enquired with customer care executives , they told me that i haven't applied fora settlement letter or i haven't closed the account , and the amount which is in the bill is their service taxes .

    But in the bill, amount is stated as purchases balance and cutomer care executives are kept saying that amount is their service taxes.

    Now i am not willing to pay this amount since i haven't used this card for anything for last two years.
    And I want to register a case against HSBC.

    Kindly guide me for this.

    I don't understand why messeges in regard to creit card ending----9702 are being to my mobile ending
    ---79010 as i am not holding the subject credit card.

    Hi,

    I was a holder of HSBC credit card ending 9751. The credit card had Rs 800 as outstanding balance on it. After a while I changed my job and I didn't get the Credit card statement. But along with that I stopped getting my Online notification/alerts for payments alerts as well. The bank made no communication with me after that either through email or Phone. After 4 years when I tried to get the home loan I came to know that I am having bad credit history in CIBIL due to this outstanding amount which has now gone to 28000 and the bank has filed a suite as well against me. The bank has my current address and it has still not sent me any statements or notice, but has kept spoiling my CIBIL record just to extract more money out of me.

    This is pure blacmailing from the bank by using CIBIL as a medium and spoil the individuals credit history. I have repeatedly asked HSBC to give me any proofs related to any kind of communication they have done with me related to the payments and they have failed to give me any such proofs.

    I request you to help me guide in this case and try to clear my name.

    Angry The Worse Bank on the planet

    The worse bank on the planet...the most incompetent staff I have ever had to deal with...Customer Service is shit! The internet banking is so complicated it never loggs on and you have to wait for their password through the mail! what if you moved countries!?!?! Absolutely terrible if anyone went with HSBC you are making the biggest mistake of your life...get ready to get screwed!

    Default Diccrepancy of Credit card Account Staement

    I wish to point out some of my billing discrepancy in my monthly account statement since 11th Feb. 2011. Details are briefly writing below for your attention and resolve the problem.
    1. 30th Jan.2011 I received 7,000 AED interest-free loan for 3 months period with .99% processing fee, and next month statement (11 March 2011) whole amount and 108.81 AED Finance charge also taken from my account without further information. What base finance charge and whole loan amount has taken? Why it happened?
    2. Again finance charge imposed on 11th April 2011 account statement 0.06AED. Why?
    3. 11th Sep.2011 account statement showing over limit charge 150 AED and 117.96 AED Finance charge. I had received 19,500 AED balance transfer interest free amount for 6 month period. I haven’t any notification of this transfer to my account. Do justice about this matter. What reason finance charge? If I fail to pay the minimum Amount Due by the payment Due date, a late payment amount will be levied. Already have taken minimum amount AED 167.98 from my account. So, finance charge for what reason? Also I noticed statement closing balance is 26,846.82 AED. That means deliberately imposed huge amount same as 30th Jan. 2011 situation. What credibility I can assure to my bank account statement. Why do retrieve complete amount 19,500 AED which I received six month interest free loan.
    4. 11th Oct. 2011 account statement minimum payment is 1,342.34. I have been paid 10,342.34 AED. Although imposed over limit charge 150 AED and Finance charges 304.17 AED.
    5. 11th Nov.2011 I have been paid minimum payment 847.93 AED. Again late charge and Finance charges of 215.28 AED.
    I went to the HSBC Fujairah branch to explain with all documents. They are reviewed the entire document and told we are help less, you contact credit card section with your previous compliant No. 121111/AEAP8NJCTP.
    Thank you for resolving this issue before 6th Dec.2011 of my next payment due.
