    Dear Sir,
    My SBI card No is 4317575025461311 which I had used five years back.
    After five years I got a statement suddenly which is showing a due of 8049 Rs.
    When I asked SBI card customer care they are saying they had taken a insurance of 3800 Rs which is due on my card from 2008 and adding the overdue charges amount beome 8049.
    They are ready to settle the matter If I pay minimum amount that is 3800 Rs.
    My question is I am not using the card for five years how bank has taken the insurance without my concern?Bank should call before this activity to me.
    Bank has not send any insurance documents to mE
    I had asked for statement for transaction but not yet recieved.
    Pls help how to get rid of this

    Question non receipt of refund amount.

    I have applied for SBI CREDIT CARD which was rejected, and once again the executive has shown me another scheme for fix deposit in which hey ask me pay Rs 1400/- and others by installement, which was also rejected and letter for was sent to me, informing that your deposit amounting to Rs. 1400/ will be refunded in 15 days in bank account, but till date after lapse of 6 months, no refund amount was received by me, not any further coorespondence in this regard has been received.
    It is once again advised to refund the amount of Rs. 1400/- at early date, failing which the, it will be presumed that, instead of making marketing call for issuing credit cards, the banks are trying to cheat the public.

    Have you registered your complaint with SBI customer care, we suggest you do it first and if you have already registered your complaint and not satisfied with their response then send a written notice to the CMD of SBI via registered post ( keep one copy with you, this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum ), wait for their response and revert us back.

    Default Regarding Lost of SBI Card and un-desirable/terrifying consequences afterwards

    I want to state that I have lost my SBI Credit Card 4317 5755 5916 6682 during the journey between Jodhpur to Delhi sarai rohilla. For this theft I have communicated an E-mail on 05 Aug 2009 at 9.51 AM requesting to deactivate my SBI credit card simultaneously I have received a system generated response to acknowledge the receipt of email on 5 Aug 09 at 10 AM.

    I have also received an E-mail on 6 Aug 09 at 16.45 PM informing me that I have an outstanding amount Rs. 982.23 to be paid and my card had been deactivated. But after seeing my credit card statement on Internet I was socked that an outstanding amount of Rs. 14,182.23 is being displayed.

    It is a great matter of concern that if my card was deactivated and an amount of Rs. 982.23 was there at the time of deactivation how this amount have raised up.As on date 21.3.2010 outstanding balance 21,104.00.

    I am getting telephone calls from SBI Card for payment of amount, which I have not made. The card has been deactivated on 5th Aug 2009. I have paid all the dues before the theft of credit card.

    I am sorry to inform you that I am responsible only for Rs. 982.23 and myself is not responsible for other payments, which I have not made. You may verify the amount at the seeing my signature and any other proofs required. In this context RBI has issued new instruction regarding credit card purchase/user firm should check photo identity proof, signature of cardholder etc. Therefore you are requested to kindly delete the amount except Rs. 982.23 from my statement. Also 50000/- compensation amount mental tension, other exp. etc. I am cardiac patient please reduce my stress.


    It is kindly request to look into the matter seriously and solve the problem earliest; as it is a matter of serious mental stress for me I am suffering coronary artery disease.

    When i tired to ATM but no transaction but my A/c Dr.200 Rs.
    I tired 200 withdraw but machine probleme not money received .
    just I have Bank message received your bal. Amount is .....
    Then see the ATM money is not received & msg is your a/c debited 200 Rs.

    Default SBI Wrong declaration of statement without taking the consent

    My Customer Grievance Redressal ID/ Escalation ID is 0090540006280 and my SBI Credit Card No. is 4317575075308057.
    I got the Statement dated June 10th, 2010 which shows the transactions for which I haven't given any verbal or written consent. I am credited Rs. 3193/- for Royal Sundaram Alliance Chennai and Rs. 250/- as the administrative charges for the same. I took this insurance in the year 2009 but denied to continue it. But without my consent they credited the above stated transactions and are continuously creating pressure on me to continue it and pay for it. My payment due date is June 30th, 2010.
    Each and every day I am getting a call after I launched the complaint against it because of which my precious time and energy are wasted. They are saying to deduct 30% of the transaction but why should I pay a single penny when I am not guilty for it.
    Because of all these proceedings I am mentally harassed and pressurized.
    I will not pay for any transactions related to this and will not bear any penalty charged on me because of this and any outcome of it will be the responsibility of SBI Cards. I am now forced to go to consumer court for the same as my request is not taken into consideration and accepted.

    Default Non- Presentation of Cheque for Rs-3122-00- Reg

    I have sent the Cheque bearing NO, 912840 towards my SBICard No. 5101286925694337 for rs.3122-00 Which is correctly addressed. But so far it is not presented. There was a call stating that cheque has some erros. When told to return the cheque it is said it is not returnable. But said that a scanned cheque will bw sent by my e-mail rama-murthy@hotmail.com. It is regret to note that no e-mail has been sent. Hence it is not possible send the alternative.

    Default Complaint against transaction on SBI Credit Cards

    I have been holding this credit card ending 7945 for quite many years without much of a problem. However, during the month of June, 2010. I had booked one product against interest free emi from one of the merchant establishment as per the scheme on sbi card. On 9th of June, I had to book an air ticket and although as per the rate of the ticket displayed it was well within the limit, by the time the booking went through, the rate increased by another one thousane and the limit of the card got over by Rs.600/- approx. Thus the conversion of emi was stopped. On noticing the booked rate of the ticket, I immediately put the cancellation request the same day, but the cancellation proceeds got credited only on 21st of June, 2010. On confirmation on 22nd/23rd June, I contacted your customer care, who have confirmed that the interest charges and the overlimit charges will be reversed and the conversion of emi will be done within 5 working days and the same will be displayed in the next statement. She also mentioned the amount to be paid against the bill and accordingly the amount was paid before the due date. However, on receipt of the bill thru mail on 13th July, 2010, I contacted Ms. Neelam on 15th of July, 2010, who has again confirmed reversal of interest and conversion of emi in another 5 days, as the overlimit charge of Rs.500/- was reversed except for the interest charges on Rs.500/-. I waited for 2 weeks and contacted the customer care on 28th July, 2010 and talked to Mr. Shitij at 1.05 p.m. and then at 4.45 p.m. with Ms. Saumya, who had informed that she will call back on 29th July. However, when I contacted on 29th, and talked to Mr. Dinesh who informed that Ms. Saumya is on leave and she will call back on 30th July. When I did not get any call on 30th July, and the due date was 2nd of August, I contacted again on 31st July and talked to Ms. Nasreen at 1. pm whom I have explained everything. She confirmed that the interest will be reversed and the emi conversion will happen in another 5 days and will reflect in the next statement. She has advised for a payment of Rs.5945.05 as full payment, which I did on the same day. But on 11th of August, 2010 I called up Mr. Govindraj at around 3.20 p.m. who informed that he will get back to me on the next day. On 12th August, 2010 I contacted again nd talked to Ms.Vanitha and requested to talk to Mr.Govindraj, as he was to call back but informed that he will call back in a couple of days. I again contacted on 16th of August, 2010 and talked to Ms Seetha and informed the same thing that I will get a call back latest by 19th. Again I contacted on 20th when I was told to wait till Monday next. But when I did not get any call by Monday, the 23rd, on 24th I called and talked to Mr. Karthik and one more lady who informed that the supervisor will call back in a couple of days. Again finally when I talked to Ms. Gayathri on 30th August, 2010 and to the supervisor Ms. Lavanya who has finally confirmed that the conversion of emi is not possible unless I personally talk to the merchant establishment, which in this case is not required. This was availed according to the scheme which had a tie up with sbi cards and the emi was with-held by sbi and not the merchant establishment.

    My credit card having no 4006676174200447 has been misused and without my authorization and knowledge money has been cashed. This has come to my knowledge when i was contacted by sbi credit card headoffice for the payment. so requesting you to stop the payment immediately.

    Sir,
    Ref: SBI card No:4317 5750 2489 4405 valid till 08/08
    The captioned card was surrendered by me two years ago and the dues were cleared in accordance with your statement.Your SMS alert was activated and informations were up to date. The last message dated 04-08-2010 from LM SBI card Number 7230, was that there is a credit balance of Rs72.30 in my card a/c and this would be adjusted against your subsequent purchases. Since I am not having a card, I closed the chapter.

    Of late, on 04-09-2010 I got another SMS for the new dues of Rs 804.23. Still the reminders are coming and it is also annoying me. So I request you to sort out the matter and reply immediately.
