Dear Sir/Madam,
I have complaint against ICICI Bank. I have ICICI bank account at Gandhinagar.
Also one EMI is going on to this. last month bank debited Rs 281 in the name of
ECS return charges while i had the balance in my account on 5th jan 2009. Bank
cut the money in 6th feb 2009. i had put complaint against it to bank's customer
care but they told that i got amount in my account in the evening of 5th jan
2009. but this also is bank's mistake . it was my salary had to come through
check put up by my office and that was done on probably 1st jan 2009. bank took
a long time to credit that money to my account up to 5th jan , evening. what is
the logic of evening and morning. when on 5th jan my account summary is showing
sufficient amount then why bank has taken the ECS return charges. i want Rs 281
back to my account because i think i am right on my point. i am giving all the
mail conversation with bank about all this as follows:

Dear Ms. Sharma,
We understand your concern.
We have checked the records and found that ECS was dishonored due to reason
insufficient funds and the charges have been levied as applicable for all the
accounts.
Please note that cheque or ECS return charges are not levied immediately upon
dishonor but the charges are levied after completing the clearance process subject
to availability of balance.
We would like to inform you that Charges in connection with the operation of the
Account and the Services would be levied at the rates as prescribed on the Website
from time to time. Charges will be debited to the Account at such intervals as may
be deemed fit by ICICI Bank
Intimation will not be given for any charges leived in your account as the service
charges list updated in our website ; notice board of all the branches and
communication is been send to the customer through Statement insert if any change is
