    Unhappy HDFC Bank Credit Cards

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I was using a HDFC Credit Card for last 2 year and always pay the bill on time, but last time I drop a payment cheque for my credit card in the drop box before the due date only as on 5th of every month and my due date is 8th of every month, but I received a call from the bank and they said the date on the cheque was15th, they were right and on the same day I made the payment again, but it was really shocking for me that HDFC recovery department call me for the payment which I already made a lady poonam rahi called me and she I cant explain what sort of language she used on phone, I checked my account and the payment got deducted from my account but I don’t know why they are still asking me another cheque, even they block my card without any intimation and if I called the customer care regarding this they used very unprofessional language on phone.

    Default HSBC credit card account

    Dear all this is Rupesh

    1. I had a HSBC credit card account. Since July 2007 it has been
    closed as I couldn't pay the credit amount on time because I went to
    onsite for an official purpose & was back in the month of May 2008. I
    contacted the HSBC - customer care executives & conveyed the same to
    them. They have informed me that my account has been suspended & I
    also need to pay the full amount in one shot, to close my account
    permanently. My due amount was rupees 39.863.50/- & I have paid the
    amount of rupees 39.870/- by cheque (Cheque number-199785) in the
    month of 27th may 2008.

    2. When I contacted the customer care, they confirmed that the amount
    has been credited & my account is closed permanently. Also, they asked
    me to destroy my HSBC credit card as my account was already closed. I
    requested them for a written confirmation on the account closing, but
    they told that they would get back to me.

    3. Again I received a statement of rupees 555.30 paisa without any
    clarification in that statement from your bank on 13th Jun 2008,
    immediately I thought of calling HSBC Customer Care, but I struggled a
    lot to reach them as I have already destroyed my credit card as per
    HSBC Customer Care Executive's advice. But, somehow I finally reached
    them & checked regarding the same that - when I have cleared all my
    due payment & also my account has been closed from your end then what
    purpose you're asking this amount. Your CCE was not able to give
    (Information) answer. Again I got the same response from him stating-
    "We will get back to you".

    Again I received a new statement on 13th Thursday 2008.Now this time
    the amount Rupees 555.30/- amount has become Rupees 3.187.70/-. I am
    not able to reach customer care because I don't have that credit card
    number.

    I am continuously getting reminders from(HSBC)disturbing and breaking
    my peace of mind, particularly when I have paid the entire due amount
    & it's intimated in all the statements that my account has been closed.

    Angry HDFC Credit card complaint

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I would like to complaint against HDFC bank for keep sending statements with with some wrong late fee and other charges. i was using HDFC Platinum card for more than a year and paying the bills always on time once I could not sumbit the cheque on time as I was out of station. When I came back, I spoke to the customer care dept. and told them that I was out of station so could not pay the bills on time so please waive off my late fee. That lady accepted my request and told me that it will be disappreared in my next bill. But instead of waiving off the the late fee they kept on sending me statements with different surcharges and all. So now the late fee amount which was Rs. 350 now increased to 5K+ and HDFC guys calling me to pay the same. Please note that in this amount not even a single penny is of my shopping. I stopped using this card just after this dispute raised.
