Credit card misuse to book air tickects online. Dear all,
I am new to this site and am not aware if the same has already been posted.
My ICICI credit card was misused by someone to book air - tickets online amounting to 53,000/- on 24/03/09. The card is still with me and i suspect someone wrote down my @@@ no. and expiry date, credit card no. etc. during a transaction done by me(last known transaction was at a petrol pump in noida). I have already lodged a complaint to ICICI on the very next day and have written a strong letter to the cash back department stating that the transaction was done without my knowledge or approval. I have also written a mail to customer support @ ICICI. Can anyone suggest any further steps to be taken by me to ensure i dont become a victim to such misuse.
Should i also lodge a complaint in the consumer court. I want to know what my rights are a consumer in such a case to avoid any harassment from the bank.
Any help shall be greatly appreciated.

the bank executives have confirmed that i dont need to lodge an fir as i still have my card.........i have checked with a person who had the same problem and said that an fir wont be required.
i want to ensure that people who have done this be caught and the bank also take part of the share.......

This is a totally fraud, our personally suggestion is to lodge the police complaint first, so that you have the proper proof that you also intimate the appropriate authority regarding the fraud, apart from this share your full contact details so that we can guide you accordingly.

friend people should not give out there credit card numbers and their full names on this site.
This is open to further fraud
the administrators of this site should make this clear to everyone
