But after that I am getting the call from HDFC Bank Branch Rajouri Garden, New Delhi. The name of lady is Namrata she told me. she is calling me again and again after clearing the all matter in front of her, the Phone numbers which she is using are 011-45074400, 45698800, 45036600. When I told her that I will clear my dues before that such date, and you can check updates of my discussion with customer care executive. But she is not ready to do this and she denying everything and starts again arguments with me. Even I had wrote a mail to HDFC Bank customer care also regarding this matter. Plaese help me if you can, I am not a fraud customer of my bank, but there is some problem thats by its happened with me. I will pay all the payment and finish this account with in two months.

    To

    The General Manager

    HDFC

    Subject: threatening calls from HDFC.

    Respected Sir

I am using credit card of HDFC bank .Due to some busy schedule I was
not able to deposit my pending due for this month. I have got some call for
the payment of those dues from *NUMBER 011-4314500, 011-4314520* and I
promised to do so to the calling person named *HARMEET* (she called herself
as a manager in collection department) but unfortunately Harmeet started
shouting on me and she start using abusive languages . She threatened me
badly and after that she called my family members and did same with them .
Due to this I felt hurt

and *mentally* *harassed* and my family members too.

I am responsible customer of your bank and I always pay all my old dues on
    time .

Instead of cooperating with me Harmeet misbehaved with me which was not
professional from any aspects even I tried to enquire that how would I will
rest of dues but Harmeet not coordinating with me .

Sir , please suggest that is that the right way to treat your customer .

I am very sorry that using these words but

Due to these things *I don’t want to continue any kind of relations with
    HDFC in future.*

I don’t know how *HDFC* treats their customer but I am not happy with it
.I will make it sure if HDFC ignore this and not take any action against
    the calling person (HARMEET, female)

Then I will put all my efforts to get justice in this matter from any kind
of consumer rights forum and concerned organization even court.

I need explanation from HDFC and I hope that particular calling person
should apologize for her acts on me .

I need some valuable response from you ASAP.

Default Threatning calls from HDFC Banks

    Hi Rajeswari,

Glad to see your response, but I am very disappointed,& I think you are still
not understanding the issue,I dont have a issue with any kind of follow up
call, but I have issue the way that lady (Harmeet) spoke to me & my
mother, might be once I can tolerate the way she spoke to me but I can't
tolerate the way she spoke to my mother, she literally abused my mother & you
can't imagine after that day what kind of problems I am facing ,since that
day I am continuosly giving explanation at my home & this is kind of mental
harrasmant which I am facing right now. Please try to understand that here
it is not a matter of money, now it is the matter of my & my family's ego &
self respect,no one can call me & my family just like this & abuse whereas I
    know I am right here..

If you check my previous history you can see..yeah I accept last 2 months it
got delay, but I have given the reasons for that, due to some financial
problem even I requested the customer care person earlier that might be I
will not be able to submit the minimum whole amount for next 2 months but I
will pay some amount thats the reason from last 2 months I was paying Rs
1000 every month so that my credit history will in good condition & atleast
trust will be maintained. & if HDFC can consider it as a genuine case & put
a hold on my account for 2 months & even also I told the customer care
executive that if in any case its not possible then I will arrange and pay
the minimum amount, but there was no response and after that this Harmeet
    story started.

I wanted that there should be action taken against that lady Harmeet..and
for that I am already in process to reach Banking Ombudsman (RBI)..

    Please suggest...

    Thanks

Default HDFC Bank M.D. summoned by Hisar Court

Here's an interesting news-item for all those who have suffered harassment and humiliation at the hands of HDFC Bank Credit Card Customer Care Executives:

    HDFC Bank MD summoned
    Tribune News Service

    Hisar, June 17
A local court has summoned Aditya Puri, Managing Director of HDFC Bank, to appear in the court on July 17 in connection with a complaint filed against him on charges of extortion under Section 384 of the Indian Penal Code.

The complainant, local resident Gagandeep Mehta, has alleged that he held an HDFC Bank credit card and had been making regular payments to the bank. However, he changed his residence after which he did not receive any monthly statements.

The bank issued him a recovery notice for having failed to pay the minimum outstanding dues. The complainant said after receiving the notice he deposited Rs 11,000 on February 2 last year and sought duplicate bank statements from December, 2008, to March, 2009. The bank refused to supply the statements.

He again deposited a total of Rs 14,000 on three occasions, but the statements were still not supplied.

Later, the bank offered him a settlement for Rs 27,600. However, when he asked for details of transactions, the bank refused. Instead he was issued a legal notice asking him to pay Rs 47,005. He alleged that he was threatened and abused by bank officials.

The complainant then filed a complaint in the court of Sunita Gupta, Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, who has summoned Puri on July 17 to stand trial.
