ICICI EMI Credit Card

    Default ICICI EMI Credit Card

    I am a new member of this forum.

    I had been consulted by ICICI phone bank officer from Chennai in MidDec-06 saying that the Mumbai office has granted you an EMI card as you a privileged customer based upon your transactions. They had said that it is absolutely free. After a week or two ICICI Hyderabad
    office had send an agent to my office for formalities. After that I received the card. But I had found that an annual fee of 2000 + service tax in my card statement that was received in JAN. As and when I got the statement to my hand (22-JAN-07) I talked to ICICI phone banking officer and asked about it. He said you can log a complaint against the false promise done. But since it was the first in-convince caused by that bank I asked him to cancel my card. But surprisingly I received another statement now including the late fee. I gain called ICICI phone banking officer on (11-FEB02-07) and asked why it hasnft been done. He replied me saying that your call has been disconnected. The note of my previous call says to them. Now he had given me a Service Request number SR18334860. I asked him about the statement I received. He said since the card is getting cancelled you donft need to settle the statement. On 17-FEB02-07 I got a SMS form ICICI bank saying that the card has been cancelled.

    But surprisingly on 13-Mar-06 I received yet another statement with more late fee.

    Now can you suggest how to proceed on this. Can I file a consumer case on the bank for this. If so please give me the details of how to file a consumer case.

    Hi Friend

    Yes surely you can go forward and file a complaint at consumer court, ICICI bank is famous for all this, even i have been tricked by them, next time whenever you use a credit card, apply it online, looking all features company has to offer dont take it from an executive...


    and i will sugest you to dispute all charges from ICICI bank.. and your account is not closed, if account is closed all late fees and interest charge bcoz of it is waived..

    I am facing same problem of credit cards mistakes by HSBC BANK AND
    SBI BANK the best thing is to stop using THE CREDIT CARDS
    cancell the CREDIT CARDS AND SURRENDER TO THE RESPECTIVE BANKS

    Hey,

    I have ICICI EMI Card.After year i rcvd a statement.In this statement ICICI Bank clear written now onward you pay 2000 rs anually.When i call the customer care & request to end the credit card they give me a mail,it a free not anuual charge.If you do nedd this mail please let me know.

    Red face emi card no4477462041996016

    current status and facility available . due to auto debit facility in my acct cant under stand how much amount has been deducted now the situation is that im afraid to keep any amt in my accts please guide positively. my accts is selaiyur branch chennai presently im in guwahati (Assam)
