Dear Sir,
In reference to the above mentioned subject we wish to inform you that the credit card was last used in the month of August 2009.The payment for that
months bill was done vide SBT cheque no 014260 for Rs 9167.Till Jan we did not receive any statement nor any call. But suddenly from the begining of April 2010 t we
starting receiving calls for the outstanding .Though we had not done any purchases.

For this we had given a request to stop the credit card card vide request
no 2422402 ref no 2422424.But since then nothing was done.
For the next six months we did not receive any statement from their end.Instead telly
callers started calling early morning .To our surprise without any purchases being done by us barclays continued charging with late payment fee,service tax,debit interest.

Still we agreed to settle the dues. First we paid Rs 300 vide cheque no
331590 of Indian Overseas Bank Parliament Street dated 14/4/10.Still Calls
continued to pour. Then we paid Rs 1180/ vide cheque no 10677 dated
26/5/10 of Indian Overseas bank,Parliament Street Branch.Receipt no
:C1336674.We also destroyed the card in front of CSC Financial services Pvt Ltd collection agent.
But still continuously we are getting calls for the payment.Today they
said the dues have reached approximately to Rs 6614/-.

We , requested them to stop calling and instead send us the statement.We had a talk with the Barclays customer care division,customer settlement department,customer grievance cell.Everyone has shown their inablility to help us on this front .Instead they want us to make the payment of the due amount to stop the calls.

Now please explain to us on what grounds should a customer make a payment when for the past one year almost the card has not been used and inspite of making a payment of Rs 1480/-.Please help me out.
