to respected concern person my name is arun premi , i had a credit card with citi bank , i was the good customer with them but unfortunatley i lost my job and i was behind my payemts for couple of mnths ,i started reciving 10 calls aprox a day . I informed tjem abt my financial status ans asked them that i dnt want to be a defaulter so convert all my outstandings intoemi . They agreed to that. They send an agent to my house wgere i signed an ecs form and gave one cancelled chq and some other chks as the security cheque. I also gave the furst paymnent as cash and i have all the relevant proof. I authorized them for the amt of 1794 per mnth fir 36 mnths including the cash paymnt . Igave them my icici bank info which is my salried a/c but it is also the joined a/c sith my wife . Thus was done in december 09. I got the call fromciti saidnthat on the chq there is one more name is there and they need the authotiztion which i denied clamining that i am the primary a/c holder which they agree later on . Ecs debit date is between 1 to9 . For 2 mnths no money was debited . On march the 8 i got the msg snd n number of calls from citi that ecs was dishonuered due to nsf . I called icici theysaid they have nt recived any ecs request from citi and it was nt due to nsf as if it would have been the case they also had charged me a nsf fees from there end on the otherend citi ph officer was claiming that it was due to nsf . I made stop payments on all my cques as the security chks was of bigger amt . I was reciving more thsn 5 calls a day to make the payment . Citi also chzrged me a nsf fees . Then i marked the mail to citi infirming whts goin on after a weekthey replied that all the nsf fees was returned as it was nt due to nsf it was due to my banker end some problem relating to name on th a/c. I marked the same to icici they said that it was to due the miss represenstion of name on the a/c. But the ph banker and the banker in the branch said verbally that no request of ecs wasmplaced on my icici a/c. I was getting calls from citi whuch was niw the part of my brkfusut abd lunch but i told the same thing again again that i am on ecs .then they replied to that that due to nsf my ecs was dishonered i have to mke a cash paymnt for nxt six mnths . Now this mnth they debited 1794 and extra of 553which i never authorized . The icici bznk who claims till seventh that ecs was nt placed now charged me nsf fees twice and the phone banker informed me that ecs was hit the a/c on 7th the funds were nt there thsts true but on 7th after the after noon when there was funds available citi hit two ecs first of 1794 and other of 553 which i never no. This happened this mnth . Icalled citi they said info is nt updated they will get back to me . So i want to file a law suit against citi who debited extra money without my agreement . They ruined my creited with icici and mental harrasment due to funds debit , inproper info given , numerous calls , no resolution of my query . So kindly help me with this as i am pissed of. Please suggest me what i can do .
