I had a credit card of HDFC bank Account Number :4346771001018515 which I had surrendered long back in 2005 after clearing the entire dues . Post their confirmation I categorically refused to pay any charges accrue out of this transaction which could be due to quarterly/ annual fee. To my surprise this account has been reported in CIBIL after 5years of closure of said transaction( detail given below ) . I have demanded them the basis of reporting for this account as substandard with detail of transactions which might have missed out from my attention. I have also registered my call with their customer service for providing NOC for this transaction but have not received any response/ detail of this account despite of my numerous reminders. Bank has been requested to recall this transaction from reporting to CIBIL without any further reminder on this, otherwise this will be tantamount to wrong and defamation reporting .
