Dear Consumer Forum,
This is to inform you of today's incident when i received a call from Mr. Karan, SBI Cards regarding an outstanding due since January 2009. We discussed the concern amicably and Mr. Karan was asked to revert with a decent payment figure. Minutes later, got a call from Mr. Raman (0124 - 3045856) out of nowhere, who started discussing the same case despite my previous conversation with SBI Cards. Repeatedly he was told that the case has been discussed and he should revert to Mr. Karan but he denied listening and kept arguing. In the process, my phone battery died and i got busy in the process of replacing sim in a 2nd set. Mr. Raman assuming that the phone was deliberately switched off, called up my wife and used unparliamentary, threatful language with a lady, a person who was a relation and not the direct party herself.
The language he used with the lady was filthiest one can use against a lady in a country like ours.
Despite a settlement issue already discussed, we got numerous calls from Mr. Raman, exhibiting all levels of threat, harrasment and unparliamentary language to both me and my wife.
I wish to bring this to your knowledge and seek your support as per the consumer forum laws and procedures.
Case History :
My last payment of 10,000 was made to SBI collection agent on 31st Dec 2008, which later got reflected of an amount less than 10,000 in the immediate month's statement, clearly reflecting the fraud done by collection agent. I kept trying to resolve the issue by approaching Customer care (mails and payment receipts retained with me till date), got no response. Finally their payments were blocked. Months later, the recovery agents realised the need of not sorting but extracting maximum out of the due outstanding, resulting in today's conversation and case.
