My Husband & myself had a credit card of Standard Chartered bank,for which reason our names was reflecting in the cibil.

After the sad desmise of my husband ,I somehow managed to pay & clear the amount in full to the bank, without any settlement ,for which i also received the clearence letter from the bank.
Now being the single earning member in the family ,I had applied for a job in a reputed bank, the selection was put on hold only for the reason that my name is still reflecting in CIBIL defaulter list.

Now this is very disguisting from your end that if the payment is not done than you reflect the name in the cibil records,but than why is that it is not updated immediately about the payment done & clear in the cibil record immediately.Please help in removing the name from cibil records

My name is Sumit Chowdhury, from Bangalore. I had 2 loans And 3 credit cards, from the following banks, ICICI, AXIS, BARclays, Citibank. Due to recession I lost my job and could repay the debts but once I got my job I have settled all the amounts and have the respective NOC letters from the bank but still my name is not removed from the CIBIL. Now its almost 3 years, I have a stable job with a good earning but I am not getting any loan. How do I increase my credibility. Please help to to resolve this issue. How do I get loan again?

I was a credit card user for Barcalys

My name was put in the defaulter list because of not doing payment to bank for amount which was used by me.

I spoke to the recovery team & informed them that i have to make payment for what i have used. Which was agreed by them & hence they provided me with the settelment letter. All the EMI were cleared from my account & payment was cleared but still my name Is reflecting in CIBIL defaulter list.



I want to know why are bank does not removes name of people who settels there account.

How can i remove my name so that i do not face problems in getting loan from bank.
