ICICI Salary account blocked Dear Sir
I am having a salary account with the ICICI Bank. I also have two ICICI Bank Credit Cards. As per my knowledge, i have applied for only one credit card but they have issued me
two ICICI gold card of same variant.
I have some payment to this credit cards. The bank has placed lien on my salary account last month and took Rs. 45,210.11 because I have not made payment towards my credit card.
Again this month they have placed lien of amount Rs. 73724.45. I have in no way given any written or oral approval for this anytime.
The bank has not given prior intimation about this.
Neither the ICICI Bank credit card department nor the ICICI Bank with whom I have a salary account have communicated to me in any way about the lien. I get all my bank related communication by email, my bank statement as well as credit card statement.
I am a family person with two kids, I have to run my family based on my salary and i have no other income.
If the bank where my salary credited takes all that i earned, How i can run my family. Last month i adjusted by taking handloan from friends, that was the toughest month in my entire life. I was just waiting for this month salary, and very panic seeing my account is liened again.
I would like to know can a bank issue two credit cards of same variant to same person with out his concern (as i mentioned above that i only appiled for one card).
Does the ICICI Credit Card Dept. have the right to put a lien on my Salary account ?
Please tell me how to proceed.

My company opened Salary account with ICICI in 2008. Later some time I have applied for one ICICI Credit card. After Two weeks from applying i received a ICICI GOLD Card with num 5176 XXXX XXXX 6007(Card 01) And again after i received one more ICICI GOLD Card with num 5176 XXXX XXXX 4007 (Card 02). I was paying all the dues on time for both the cards regularly. In 2009 my company cut my salary to 15%. From then I was paying the minimum amount for both the cards. From last four months i stopped paying due for both the cards due to insuffucient funds with me.
On february when i about to withdraw my salary i found my account is blocked. I enquired with phonebanking executive regarding this he told that your account been placed on lien due to credit card payment due. They have blocked Rs. 45,210.11 which is the due amount for Card 02. After four days they have took all the amount from my account. Now again they have placed lien on my account for Rs. 73724.45 which is the due amount for Card 01 and this month salary also blocked. To clear all the amount i will not get salary for next three months.
From last two months i have no salary and felt very diffucult to run my family. If this continues i am in a great trouble and my survival questions.
I would like to know can a bank issue two credit cards of same type to same person with out his concern (as i mentioned above that i only appiled for one card).
Does the ICICI Credit Card Dept. have the right to put a lien on my Salary account ?

My hdfc salary account frozen by company.. hey guyz.. i worked for an bpo named INTELENET in New Mumbai.. and i quit my job as soon as the salary came to my account , after 2 days i could'nt widraw the money.. does the company have any right to freeze my salary account since i left the company without intimation ?? i even tried giving a cheque , even that didnt work, bank guyz told me to visit the main branch which is quite fat... do you guyz think i'll get my money if u go the MAIN BRANCH of HDFC ..Question2 >> Does the company have any right to freeze my account and stop me from widrawing money ?? plz reply ASAP and mail me @ darklord_vinayak@yahoo.com or chotuenator@gmail.com
