    Default complaint against bank in india

    Hi,

    My name is Koustav, i used to hold a HSBC credit card which expired on April'2006. Till now i have not received any formal communication from HSBC bank to settle my outstnading balance if any. Since its a old case and the card was blocked in year 2005 , i had enquired with the HSBC bank customer care and they did not specify me what was my outstanding balance to settle my card and was left in the dark.
    Now after 5 yrs suddenly i get anonymous calls on my mobile asking me that the total amount due on the card is 250000/- including all the interest, not sure how when the card had a limit of 40,000. The card was blocked in year 2005 and expired on April 2006. I want to ask you how can the recovery agent charge interest on a card which has expired. To my surprise HSBC bank has never approached me or i have recieved any formal communication, i only get calls to harrass me. I have checked with my friends working in HSBC and according to them since its a old card bank has sold the credit card asset to a recovery agent.

    Pls guide me and let me know if i can take any legal action or how can i settle my original amount due on the card.

    Any help would be great.

    COMPANY'S AGENT OFFER ME A DEBIT CARD FOR NO CHARGE YEARLY,I ACCEPT HIS OFFER BUT BANK HAS CHARGED RS.500 FOR DEBIT CARD,NOW COMPANY AGENT IS MISSING.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    There was a complain regarding a credit card owned by me from last 4 years and i had been paying the amount on regular basis but in the month of sept2009 due to my personal reason i left the job and my mobile was surrerendered at the office as it was a corporate connection and due to my unemployment i was not able to pay my card bill. I joined my new job on 6th of Jan 2010.

    My complain was that the bank (ICICI BANK) has sealed my account without having my concern and if the seal a account how can they seal all my accounts this is what it has been done to me and i remember at the time i applied for credit card i had not given any athority to auto debit my account and now they are calling me and forcing me to put a mail for the authority to auto debit my account and they are treating me i am a new customer to them i am dealing with them from last 5 yrs and i am always regular in paying the Credit card bill/personal loan/two wheeler loan my track record is always good but these people are making me a major defaulter by blocking my account as i have a auto debit for my personal loan from the same account and it has bounced last month that is for the first time just because the account was blocked.

    They want me to pay minimum amount due but as my source of income is salary and that is blocked and my other account is also blocked how can i pay the minimum amount and they are forcing me and calling me everytime it is becoming difficult for me to concentrate on my work this is the reason why people go for the last option that is sucide but i will not do that as i have the power of knowledge and self confidence now you please tell me how can i pay the amount when my account is blocked i dont have money as i was not working for last 4 months and as i got my first salary after i took a new assignment in Jan10 that salary was blocked how will i survive i am married and have a daughter of 1 yr old and my wife is a housewife,how can a person without salary can survive with all these tensions please guide me what to do?

    Please guide me what to do as i have got my first salary after a long time and i cant withdraw the money and there is a negetive balance in my account so if i will get my second salary even that will be totally diducted from my account and because they have sealed my account my EMI has been bounced that is of personal loan they are treating me as a major defaulter plz guide me a proper way out.

    Respected Sir,

    I am the customer of ICICI bank having saving bank account at Bangalore cantonment branch (A/c. no: 625201512733) as well as credit card account. I used my credit card at one POS center (Pakshi Readymades) at Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu on dated 24.10.2008 for Rs.378/- (Three hundred and seventy eight only) later I came to know the sum of Rs.2362/- (Two thousand three hundred and sixty two only) additional amount also debited in my account wrongly. I registered complaint to the same to concern office and re-credited in my account one month later on 20.11.2008 for the delay period they charged Rs.400+49.44(s.t.) in my credit card account. But I claimed that amount through ICICI mobile banking they assured to reverse the wrong amount charged by them immediately and block my credit card as per my request.

    I issued cheque from my saving account of Rs.4000/- to my house owner on dated 25/05/2010 and it got returned with the return memo as “Insufficient Funds”, but my previous account balance was Rs.4,122.06/-. I came to know that my account balance was freezed /debited due to penalty interest not remitted which they assured to reverse. I really very much vexed in this regard and I brought to the knowledge to the ICICI bank, they did not reply properly and informed to contact various place with out proper reason. I don’t know to whom we have to contact to get remedy for this charges debited in my account without prior notice. I humbly request you to take this matter with them and to re-credit my account immediately.

    As an ICICI Bank Credit Card holder, you are governed by the terms and conditions of the Card Member Agreement, under which you have authorized the Bank to debit your ICICI Bank account to the extent of any outstanding amount due on the Credit Card that proves to be un-collectable from you, and other amount due to the Bank by you in terms of the Card Member Agreement.

    I received your mail regarding my credit card complaint. Thanks for your reply.
    The reason you sent to me is not convincible. As you told you are having all the rights as per credit card agreement for set-off my credit balance account it should be intimated to me. But really I did not receive any intimation thru e-mail or account statement received stating to debit my account for the reason above mentioned. If you have the rights to debit my savings account towards charge/penalty for my credit card why don’t you debit on the same month or atleast within six month period. You have purposefully accumulated the charge for the period more than one year and debited my salary account that too with out my notice. Due to your action I unable to honor the commitment to my house owner to pay the rent because cheque was bounced. You kindly verify both my savings account and credit account for the long period did I pay any late payment or default in any case. I really seek you good self to clarify and reverse the penalty charge as a special case.

    Default Violation of collection laws by Barclays Bank PLC

    Dear Sir,

    I have a credit card with Barclays bank PLC. As I am unemployed I cannot pay the credit card company. However, they have started calling my native place and informed my family about the dues and are offering a settlement to my parents. Are they well within their rights to do that?

    Sir i have lost of finacial problem thats why i want to make the outstading amt of my credit card in instalment and for the same i had given requast to bank many time from last 15 months every time they give me cumitment and force me to pay the dues first and i honestly paying it regularly but they not doing my work. Sir i agree that i used bank money and i want to pay it Honestly. Sir 15 Months ago i spoke to Miss anjali (amployee of Barclay bank) about my financial condition and i ask her for sattlement for credit card amt. But she suggested me that dont go for sattlement it will not good for your future she told me that if i sattle the amt of credit card i will not get loan in future.she suggested me for EMI she told me that the outstanding amt. will charge 18% flat rate and the amt divide in 18 months and i have to pay it every month partly. and very next day she send form of EMI with thier exicutive ( Balaji of RMS Solution) I hade given him minimum amt cheque, my sign on that EMI form and one canceled cheque to bank she told me that my request will proceed in 15days. But next month ones again that exicutive Balaji comes for minimum due payment he told me that my request is in process i have to pay fisrt this amt after that they will do my work. every time they are giving me the same reason and refuse me every month now i am frosted i am not able to pay bank interest late payment fees all this please Help me for this tell me want can i do. Please contact me on this no so i can talk to you in details

    and i am waiting for welcome kit for last 30 days today it comes at branch but they didnt give me .and they said your account balance(87000 aprox) not allow them to give welcome kit to me. now i feel insult in your bank because bank excutive said to me that you may withdraw your money whenever you need. today i am feeling very shamefull in front of other customer and staff..i am getting nervous after all this scene create your staff .now tell me who is responsible for this ..

    Hi,

    My name is manu, i used to hold a pnb account ,I have request form to pnb ,hapur for saving account & deposit the initial amount of 500Rs.After account opening,25 Rs has been deducted against the postal charge of account opening information.
    This charge was applied for speed post of 1 page receipt.But when i got this letter at my office address ,that was 2 week late & with 12 Rs amount Tickets.This case is not special for me.But for all newly customer of PNB.
    Means there is 13 Rs froud that shows that our nationalize banks are also getting money from their customer with showing postal charge ie getting appx 50% blackmoney from each customer.
    In case 100 new customes=500x13=6500 Rs in a day
    I would like to know the fake scheme of pnb of postal charges?

    Sir i have captioned saving bank a/c with your bank since long. I am working as an ASTT DIRECTOR WITH DUSIB VIKAS KUTIR ITO NEW DELHI

    I DEPOSITED ONE DEMAND DRAFT NO. 604197 DRAWN ON CITI BANK FOR RS 50000/ WITH YOUR FARIDABAD NIT BRANCH NEAR BATA FARIDABAD ON 13.04.11 AT AROUND 11:00 AM. CREDIT FOR THE SAME SHOULD BE IN MY A/C LATEST BY 15.04.11.

    BUT I AM SURPRISE TO KNOW THAT TILL TODAY IT IS NOT EVEN REFLECTING IN A/C EVEN IN UNCLEARED AMOUNT.

    I FEAR THAT CREDIT FOR THE SAME SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO ANY OTHER ACCOUNT.

    PLEASE LOOK IN TO THE MATTER URGENTLY. AND CREDIT THE PROCEED OF THE DRAFT NO. 604197 FOR RS 50000/ IMMEDIATELY IN MY SAVING BANK A/C NO. 1220606808.

    Default After 5 month I had not received transaction password”. Pathetic Customer Services

    After 5 month struggled I am still on the same position that “I don’t not had my transaction password”.

    I my last Request ID as per IDBIBANK record

    Now this time reason is that: “IDBI not received any conformation mail from my side, Please reply the mail you had received from IDBI by communication address ”.
    And I did the same thing I am getting mail from IBKL.RMALL@idbibank.co.in and I am replying on same since last 5 months.

    Since last 5 month I listening the same story and getting same replay from customer care. And now customer tells me that you are sending to wrong email address.

    Can any one tell me that if I am getting from IBKL.RMALL@idbibank.co.in and I an reply since 5 months on same email address and no where mention that this email address is wrong for reapplying. Then how is responsible for all this loses which I am making since last five months.

    And now today I had been told that I need to reply to customercare@idbibank.co.in
    With addition information like My Name, Account number and what I need. Can any responsible person on the IDBI Bank tell me why this is not told me on the FEB 2011 when I was called the Customer care?

    I Need to some action need to taken against to that ASAP!!!

    Angry Home loan from ICICI bank

    ICICI bank had approched me for home loan i have taken it but the agent of the ICICI bank Mr Rangbihari mishra & debapriya chakraborthy both are frauds as when i had applied for the part disbursement of my loan i had given them date of 10th august 2011 but they disbursed it on 18th . as the builder was going to charge me 24 % if the amount was not given to them .So i continuosly call the agent but every time they gave me excuses they were telling me on 10 th that some of the documents are pending . the again everyday the agent was promicing me that by evening they will give me the cheque but every time they refused after 18th of aug 2011 they handed over me the cheque .they were also not clear about the procedure of the bank i had given them a date of 10th of every month for my EMI .They were first telling me that i will have to pay the interest for the 1st month then the EMI will start they even dont know that franking is required for the same .but the manager told me know it wont be possible as franking was pending then on 10th of sep 11 they stated charging me the EMI amount as only interest was to be charged . so i asked them why is it so so they told me that if the amount is been disbursed after 20th of the month then only the interest has to be paid not the EMI amount but EMI has not been started and for interest they deducted my EMI amount which is more then the said one .

    Hi,

    This is Nilesh Mohite,

    I am the customer of HSBC credit card, I used the card till July-2009 and I received the letter from HSBC on 23/09/2009 regarding my payment and my account was no longer in arrears.

    After one year I come to know from SBI HOME LOAN department that my name was given in CIBIL list for the dues from HSBC credit card.

    Now HSBC nodel officer was saying that,

    Our records reflect that your outstanding as per the July 2009 statement
    was INR 5,737.41 and the payment due date was 10 August 2009.Since we
    have not receipt any payment; your card account have been levied with
    the incremental charges and the same has been accumulated to INR
    26256.90.

    Please note that the letter clearly states that you need to make the
    further payments on timely basis to avoid any inconvenience.

    Hence we request you to make the payment towards your entire outstanding
    on or before the payment due date to avoid any incremental charges being
    levied to your card account.

    I want to file the compliant against HSBC, Please help me for the same.

    Thumbs down curruption by icici bank

    Dear Sir ,
    I have taken loan from icici bank in 2003 for 425000/-. for the period of 10 years at 10.5 rate of interest .Now after compliting almost 9 years , my principle amount is still 399000/- that means i paid only 25000/ as a principle in nine years .
    Now they are charging at the rate of 17.5% home loan from me . that is totaly against RBI instruction s.The New loan they are offering at 11%.my demand is to get the weivar of the amount which i made at above 11% rate of intrest.
    If you can help me . its ok , . i have filed it to the Bank of Ombudsman also , i am going to release it to the Hindustan Times . Also. Several ti,mes I mailed to M/s Chanda Kochhar (Head Of ICICI bANK), But They Are Giving the right Answer Thank you , Regards
