Please note the HSBC CARD matter is closed. The following was delayed as there was no reply from HSBC.
Further there is a classification fo nullification issued online to end this matter.
In addition it has to be noted that VIBHA RAMAKRISHNA 's name was put on CIBIL .
This act of HSBC has created opportunity loss for the client.
Present status : the following case is presently up against CIBIL for wrongfull display of public document and on HSBC as an accomplice to such defamarty remakrs and charges imposed.

Default HSBC credit card settelement issue

    Hi All,

Let me introduce myself, I am Pradeep Grandhi working in a MNC in bangalore. My HSBC credit card woes are as follows

    > I had used HSBC credit card for around 3 years and it ended in 3rd Jul 2009
    > I went out of country on 2009 so didnt made timely payments on my HSBC credit card for three months
    > After I came back to India In July 09, I approached HSBC bank in Basavangudi, Bangalore to clear of my outstanding dues.
    > They informed RS 6350 is pending in my account. I paid the mentioned amount and have been informed that I will receive NOC which I didnt recieve till date. I did not even ask / try for settlement. So I assumed every thing went well and card is closed.
    > Not to mention the maintenance charges they leveied every year even though I was promised free maitenance card by HSBC executive while applying.
    > Now before taking home loan, I got my Credit report from CIBIL for my cross verification. I am shocked to see that status against my HSBC credit card is POST (W/O) Settled.
    > Following which I called their customer center which informed me to contact HSBC collection department. On calling collection department, they have no clue and informed that they can send me NOC nothing more and asked me to check with info@hsbc.co.in.
    > I contacted info@hsbc.co.in and enquired about the status. They replied back saying that I have settled my account on 3-Jul-09 and there is no due.

My question is if there is no due in my account why was my account is reported settled. Also I have paid the entire amount and willing to pay any pending amount now. I do not want to have a black mark in my CIBIL report. Please help me in correcting my credit history in CIBIL report.

Please are my card credentails and please revert for further information.

    Bank:HSBC
Credit Card Number: 4384 XXXX XXXX 2233
    last Payment: 3rd Jul 2009

Great after filing consumer complaint HSBC called me on my mobile. Also I made repeated calls to HSBC customer care, HSBC collection department, HSBC cibil dept etc. They agreed that I indeed cleared and hadnt settled my card. So they filed a CIBIL request and I will be updated within 10 Days it seems. Thanks alot for your help.

will update you all after ten days.

    Hi,
I am Aneez Ahamed, from Chennai and I had used HSBC credit card for around 4 years from 2004 and I went out of the Country on 2008 and so didn't made timely payments on my HSBC credit card from April 2008.
After I came back to India In August 2010 I approached HSBC bank Credit Cards Section,Nagabrahma Towers - Chennai, to clear of my outstanding dues.

They informed RS 300,950 is pending in my account including all the huge interests, penalty and taxes. I have used for only lesser than 55,000 rs and so HSBC representative and HSBC bank agreed for the Settlement amount of 60,000 rs after discussion with me. They have also informed me that my name will be cleared out in the CIBIL report with the Status of the Card in CIBIL report will be also updated correctly.

I have made the payment completely by 05-10-2010 and have got the NOC from HSBC on November 26,2010.

Now i have got my Credit Report from CIBIL for my cross Verification and it is very shocking to see that status against my HSBC credit card is POST (W/O) Settled.

Following which I called the customer center which informed me to contact HSBC collection department. On calling HSBC collection department, they have no clue and informed that they can send me NOC nothing more and asked me to check with info@hsbc.co.in.On Further discussions with HSBC Credit Card Recovery section they are informing me to pay further 251,076 rs in case i want the status to be cleared completely. Also they are not giving any assurance over the clearance. And they are informing that the No Dues Certificate is actually a sort of zero wised statement letter, which makes me little more confused.

Since i have no dues in my account and HSBC has assured me to clear the CIBIL report once the settlement amount is paid, this is very Hurting that even after 4 months my CIBIL report has not been updated correctly.

I do not want to have a black mark in my CIBIL report. Please help me in correcting my credit history in CIBIL report.

Please here are my card credentials and please revert for further information.

    Bank:HSBC
Credit Card Number: 4476 XXXX XXXX 3136
    last Payment: 05 Oct 2010
    NOC date : 26 Nov 2010

    Thanks & regards,

Default Worst credit card experience with HSBC

I'm Saleem Ahmed Shaik and i'm posting my cibil issue with the worst bank seen in my whole life HSBC.

Customer grievances has no value to them. I got my name included by HSBC in CIBIL report for a wrong card 4324 XXXX XXXX 9627 i did not owned. I had another credit card 4384 XXXX XXXX 6321 which was closed without any dues and there is a reference no 220220114261.

The card 4324 XXXX XXXX 9627 has a wrong security question for my mother name and wrong company name and address. This clearly explains it does not belong to me. The name on that card is Shaik Ahmed.

    Opened: 19-04-2005
    Last payment: 06-08-2005
    Closed: 13-08-2007
    Reported: 31-12-2010
    Overdue: Rs 47.685
    Status: Written Off

I never received statements nor any calls from HSBC and they never tried to inform about the card
After 5 years when i applied for a home loan i'm shocked to see my name in CIBIL report. I then approached HSBC and complained about the disputed card (References no's 22020111301, 2102638232) Then i sent all the docs along with cibil report, got reply to wait for 15 business days to arrive at a decision. Till now 1 month is passed and no reply from them. Each time i send mail i get an automated email with reply in 48 hours.

I've also registered a dispute in cibil online and the service request is 476232.

I've an urgency for home loan and for that sake i even tried for settlement. I was told by a rascal collection service rep that it will take 2 months to get a settlement No due certificate (NOC/NDC) from HSBC, Instead tells me to make payment to get quick NOC.

The card had balance of Rs3000 in 2005 and now they have made to Rs50000 as total outstanding due with 48% p.a. HSBC's out dated processes for settlement is giving my nightmares to get my disputes cleared.

Collection center executives think they are bosses, don't listen to our problems.

HSBC with its reputation does not have collection center in every city of india. You only call to their collection center tel. no for settlement or make payment.

Please help me in getting my name cleared from cibil

Post HSBC credit card outstanding balance

I have an hsbc card which has not been used from Dec 2006 and the card has expired in June 2007. I have not made any big purchases with this card for the outstadning balance they are showing. The account is not active , so I can not check anything online. From last 2 weeks I have been getting calls from HSBC
collection agents stating that - I have a due of Rs 30442.26 and need to settle it. I have made couple of calls to the
customer care requesting them for transaction details for which I have been charged the outstanding amount, they say all they can see is recurring interest charges and they dont see the actual transactions ( purchases made etc) and they have requested data center to provide previous records. There is no information coming out. They are giveing execuses do give the details . They also said the bank will not have transaction details which are more than 3 years old. But Meanhwile the collection agents are bothering me with frequent calls.

The customer care also provided me with the number - 022-66667070 for collections to call and discuss. If i see the previous threads its not going to help either.

In this case how I can settle it, when I have not made any transactions. Please help me and guide here what can be done

I got the HSBC credit card in Feb 2008. Had to spend close to 45000 in Jan 2009 due to the fact that it was my wedding and I had fallen short of some funds. I was religiously paying in tit bits every month since then (More than the minimum payment). I was thinking that slowly I will be able to payoff my complete ddebt. If you calculate that I paid about 3000 each month for about 24 months. I used 45000 and paid close to 72000 and still have an outstanding of 48000. In this way I will be paying the card for my entire life and will never be able to complete the debts. I am the only earning member in my family and cannot afford to pay any more on this. I stopped making payments since May 2011 cycle. Is there anything better we can do. I was an HSBC employee for 2 years. Still have this problem.

Default settlement of credit card no.

resp sir, i am in touch through mail after running pillor to post in hsbc delhi office from the last 5 year but the mafia raj or corruption spread in the bank/management has not allowed me to settle my disputes created by the bank. i was
regular visitor/customer of the bank from last 10 year as i started my banking/ credit card career from hsbc only in my life? the credibility could be seen from your history card. i dont wan to repeat my credibility? the dispute started with rs 200 late fees before 5 years due to bank highhandedness for forceabilly granting loan to me without my consent? fafter knowing the facts i returned the entire loan tio bank and i further take oath/asure that there is nothing outstanding against me for purchase/assebality of card as a citizen of india. the hsbc could not settle my request diespite my several request/telephone/ fax/personal visit etc. the proof can be checked from my end. i had been to your noida delhi branch but the cheating and mismanagement has lost my confidence in the system. i have already settle amount twice by chq and cash also but that was a fraud spread by bank i am getting false call for settlement. but as per my condition when i visited bank no body was found available there?sir i request is thare some competent management in the universr of hsbc. such haressment to a lady customer from last 5 years is really a matter of humilation and insulting in the part of hsbc management. it seems either the bank has no customer ethics or there is a lack of discipline in the line of action? without quoting more comments on hsbc part since i am a founder card holder i prey and request your good self to settle my dispute by giving noc and stop such false info/calls for outstanding?i hope you feel the sentiments of a customer and take immed action in this ref.
thanks for anticipation to your kind help and response of hsbc ethics

Default Arrest warrant call from police on behalf of HSBC

Here is one more similar case of mine...
Today after noon i got a call saying he is Khan from special branch hyderabad, lakdi ka pul, and an arrest warrant has been issued on my name. He told me that within few hours he is going to send cops to my office to get me arrested. After all this he told me that i can speak to the lawyer named Srinivas Reddy, who had actually lodged a complaint against me and given me the number. He also told me if srinivas reddy(lawyer) will call him talk to him regarding any assurance then he can stop some sort of proceedings. (this was something odd to hear). As per my knowledge, if there is an arrest warrant, one should be arrested and produced to the court. i dont think there is any alternate unless bail papers are made available. I am not sure....
Anyway, I was shocked to hear this and called srinivas reddy. he told me that there is an out standing on hsbc credit card for which they have sent notices to my office address and as since i havent attended the court, it is contempt of court and hence the arrest warrant. Having told this he simply threatened that will meet in the court.
The address to which the notice has been sent(as srinivas reddy says) was my old office and now its been 3yrs when i left that place.
I agree that there was a transaction on my hsbc card but it was an auto debit done by hsbc. it was for tata-aig insurance which i never took. it has been told to me that i can read the terms of the insurance and only if i agree should go for it. otherwise the amount which has been debited would be reverted to my card. I read the terms which i found of no use to me and i asked them that i not going to take this and further i was in impression that they will pay back the amount to my card which never happened. For this i too told them that i not going to pay anything for which i am not liable. I do have all emails in support of this.
couple of weeks back i received a call from hsbc executive for the payment but i asked the email id where i can put everything in written. A recent email is also there where i requested the recovery department to produce me the statement for the transaction but havent received any reply.

Please suggest me if there is anything which I need to do.

    Thanks.
