Default HSBC Recovery Agents Harassing for Credit Card Bills

    Dear Sir/Ma'am,

This is regarding HSBC credit card collection agents. All of a sudden HSBC recovery agents are keep calling my family members and other relatives of mine and still calling us saying that Shashi Bhushan has run away and has not paid our credit card bills.

I NEVER had any HSBC credit card nor any Bank A/C with HSBC. I don't know how my family members and other relative’s phone numbers revealed to HSBC. I'm afraid about my personal and confidential data has been shared by some individuals or organisation. This is really embarrassing to me that someone saying about this credit card fraud. These persons used ABUSIVE languages to my family members. I can't tolerate this. Even the agents told us that we’ll prove that Shashi only did this.

Below are the details per HSBC recovery agents or better say "Gundas":
    -----------------------------------------------
    Credit Card# 4384-5999-8609-5668
    Total Transaction: 2.5 Lacs
Last payment made: 1 Lac on JAN 19, 2009
    Due Money: 1.72 Lacs
    Last transaction: NOV 24, 2008

    ------------------------------------------------
    Recovery Manager: Vikas Rana
    Agents: Arjun / Neha / T(S)anya
    Phone# 99999-77296 / 97111-98820
    Branch: HSBC, Sector - 18

    ------------------------------------------------
These are the person who called everybody with the above mentioned numbers and they were very rude and used ABUSIVE languages to all of my family members. They are harassing us even when I've no involvement in this fraud. It is really very painful experience.

I've written a email to HSBC complaint redressal "nodalofficerinm@hsbc.co.in". Ref# 170120102517 (KMM6317764I123L0KM) They are asking my confidential data to cross verify. I do NOT have any trust on HSBC as they can manipulate this and misuse against me. After their confirmation email that we have stopped calls, still today my father got call. I'm wondering Bank like HSBC is doing such malpractice. I was having a good impression of this Bank. And also when they have all the information then why they are failing to catch the culprit?

Please get me out this problem, they are making me and my family member’s life difficult and they are going through mental agony.

Please do something to these banks and have some strict rules and regulations. How come they are issuing credit cards to someone and later they are not able to find it out?

I'm ready to share my confidential data but to someone who is authentic like consumer court.

I also like to bring attention towards data sharing by mobile companies. I had mobile connection of AIRTEL. When I left India on NOV end 2009, I closed the connection by paying all my outstanding bills. How come they reveal our phone numbers to any individuals or organisation without informing us? They should have sent a consent email to me about that someone needs your details regarding this issue. After our permission they can share our data to any individuals. I've also written a email to AIRTEL appellate and nodal officer. Still I've not received any reply from them except acceptance reply (Ref# 1501201013036).

First of all these telecom services companies should be heavily FINED for sharing any confidential information to any individuals.

    Please advice!

    Thanks & Regards,
    Shashi Bhushan

    Hello,

You can register your complaint at your nearest police station against recovery agents and send a copy to the CMD of HSBC via registered post, stated that you are receiving call from recovery agents even you never had any HSBC Credit Card and ask them furnish the proper document that shows that you ever had any HSBC Credit Card else you will drag them to the consumer forum.

If still have a question then feel free to contact us again.
