Sir/ Madam,
I am Mr Mitesh Purohit, Age:29, I have an Bank account with HDFC Bank since last three years. My HDFC Bank Account No: XXXXXXXXX87800 On the basis of that account HDFC bank has issued me a visa gold Credit Card My Credit Card no is(was):XXXX XXXX XXXX 8978. After proving all these details to you I would like to share and complaint about certain issues and services which is been provided by HDFC CREDIT CARD and BANK DEPARTMENT.
Here is the list of Complain Against HDFC BANK AND CREDIT CARD DEPARTMENT.
1) On the basis of my HDFC BANK ACCOUNT without providing a single document HDFC BANK HAS ISSUED ME A VISAGOLD CREDIT CARD NO XXXX XXXX XXXX 8978. From which you can have an rough Idea about my profile.
2)I was out of station for two months NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER. I also have proofs for the same. Meanwhile I Failed to pay remaining dues of HDFC Credit Card dues which was not under my knowledge. In absence of mine HDFC Bank did served a notice which was received by my neighbor since my house was under renovation.... I returned back on 20th December 2009,soon after looking at the notice I used my HDFC Bank account to pay the minimum dues as was not having much on hand as returned back from a long journey.The out standing amount of my HDFC CREDIT CARD was 28837.04. Soon after four five days on dated : 28th December, 2009 I have made the payment of 15000 via ABN AMRO Cheque no:747635
3)After making the payment of Rs 15000 I went to HDFC ATM to see the remaining outstanding but there my card got sucked by the HDFC ATM. To know the reason for the same I went to HDFC bank Lokhandwala Branch, Mumbai. There I was informed that my card got blocked along with my HDFC bank account due to two months dues for the HDFC Credit Card.
4) When I called on HDFC Credit Card call center to know the reason I was told that thats not their look out after requesting they said some person from bank may contact me for the same......but nobody called after calling them again and again after 10 days one guy called me and was talking to me in such a manner as if i am criminal.After explaining him all the thing he was not convinced. And also threat me that If I wont clear the remaining payment . They will put my name in CIBIL and they will even stop banks to serve me any financial services.
In notice They have provided one advocates no who is the advocate for HDFC bank.. Who never receives the phone .... Those who wants to try they can try calling him but I am pretty sure he will not pick up the phone. His name is Mr NIKHIL UDAS. His cell no: 09322514981.
5)I am holding some credit card
1) ABN TITANIUM card . Card no is XXXX XXXX XXXX 8696
2) ICICI BANK gold card : XXXX XXXX XXXX 4127
3) ICICI EMI CARD : XXXX XXXX XXXX 0109.
Why I am proving all these personal details to you. The only reason is There were also dues for these credit cards aswell for two months but neither I have received any notice from these credit cards nor any threatening calls and did not even blocked my any bank accounts.
Kindly have a look on above mentioned details and tell me where am I at fault. HDFC bank has done a mental harassment on me. Give me single reason of not filling a mental harassment claim of what ever financial loss I have suffered due to blocking of my bank account. Please specify the reason of issuing me HDFC credit card without any documents or please specify me the reason of getting my name into defaulter.
My only concern is I want the APOLOGY letter from HDFC BANK and I do not want to keep any further relation with such renowned bank who even can not keep patience for two month though on the basis of customer s profile they have issued a Credit Card without any INCOME proofs.
Sir there are other banks as well with Whom I have a very good relations . And you have no rights to put wrong allegations on me.
My intention of writing all this to you I want JUSTICE and can not tolerate these types of mental harassment and I am really fade up. Please help me out and Its my humble appeal to all higher Authorities Of Indian Legal Department. Looking forward to your positive response. Thanking You,
