I have a querry regarding the credit card o/s amount.I was having a credit card of
HDFC bank which I had stopped using 2 years ago after making last payment of Rs 5500
on 12/3/2008 as instructed by the telecalling agent.The account was settled (as per
verbal information given by the executive).The total o/s at that time was about
20,000.
Today I received a call from some SHO of Haryana Police & an advocate of the bank
that the total o/s againt me is Rs 1,32,000 & they are issuing non Bailable warrants
against me in Punjab-Haryana High court.
I have not received any information regarding the o/s amount.Now all of a sudden the
bank's advocate is demanding for such huge o/s amount.I have also tried to contact
the bank's customer care regarding the actual principal amount but no details have
been provided.
Please provide some solution as I am unable to pay such a huge amount all of a
sudden & also when the same was waived off by the collection executive who had
called up that time.
Looking forward for your advice on the matter.
