Default Citi bank credit card problem

    Hello Sir,

I had a credit card from Citibank, India. There was a dispute regarding the transactions, after a lot of discussion
the bank agreed on fixed amount which I need to pay. I paid that said amount promptly without any further delay.

They promised for clearing my name of cibil data base in any format. Now I can see my name is appearing in cibil
data base as "post write off settled" and they are mentioning amount as well.

As per the RBI guidelines if i have paid the settlement amount my name should not appear in CIBIL.

When i called customer care they say you need to pay more to get it cleared? They told me the same thing earlier.
I am in great dilemma what should I do now? Please resolve my problem as earliest.
    my mail id is modiajay@gmail.com

    Thanks and Regards,
    Ajay

Default Post resolution Standard Chartered Bank has written me off in CIBIL

    Hi,

I was holding a credit card from standard chartered bank way back in 2004-2005 time frame but never used it.
Without any transaction through that card SCB kept on levying interest on my card and put my name on CIBIL stating Im overdue of more than Rs 17000/- which I came to know 2 months back when my car loan was rejected.

I had immediately approaced SCB and thay acknowledge their fault and provided me a No Due certificate stating that after paying Rs 5000/- (Which I did not paid as I was not suppose to) the case is resolved.
Just couple of days back I came to know from CIBIL that SCB has written me off stating that I have created a loss to SCB thereby sabotaging my image.

I have been trying to contact them but no one is bothered to even acknowledge my grievance.

    Regards,

Post Please remove my name from cibil defautler list

    Dear Sir,

I was holding an CITI Bank Credit Card, I had some payment related issues with the Citi Bank Credit card issued to me . Which i have settled down with the CITI Bank on 06/08/2010 .

However in the mean time the bank officials notified CIBIL but after the resolution they have never cared to inform the CIBIL regarding the resolution and hence still my name is reflecting in CIBIL as defaulter.

Please suggest how to remove my name from defaulter's list

My card was settled on 06/08/10 the CITI Bank Credit card num was : 5546379583914005

Reference number on the settlement letter from bank is ST100805TF59182031

    Name : PRASENJIT ROY

On the Settlement letter its clearly written that all issues with the Citi Bank regarding credit card num 5546379583914005 is settled and i have no dues with CITI Bank.

    Regards,
    Prasenjit Roy
