    Default Harassment by ICICI bank with Female Members in Family

    Hi,



    My elder brother holds a credit card of ICICI bank, but due to no employment and shortage of money he not in a position to pay his dues since last 2-3 mths,

    But now collection agencies of bank are calling at our Residence phone No. and using bad language and abusing even females of our home. This is really not a corporate behavior in which the Bank/Agencies

    We are very irate with it, kindly suggest what we should do to get the rid of it.

    Dear Mr. Manoj,

    If the Bank's recovery agents are harassing the family members, it's better to lodge a police complaint, against them. The bank has the right to recover the due amount but only in a legal way. You can also forward the complaint numbers of those recovery agencies, to the police so that they can proceed against them for making such nusiance calls.

    Default Unsolicited Charges by ICICI Bank

    Hi,

    I am based in london and got NRi account with ICICI,i transfer regular money to bank.Recently i notice that i was charged Rs.2000+ since april 2009,by ICICI bank without my knowledge.

    I would like to make legal complaint against these charges,can anyone guide me where can i make complaints.

    Question difference in my amount due on credit card payment and CIBIL default amount report !

    HI All,

    backstory:
    I was trapped with a insurance policy given on credit card,when i found
    it was very huge amount than market price i asked them to dis-continue
    my policy and suprisingly they have asked me to pay 70% of insurance amount i.e. 18000 to cancel .
    And they debited that amount on my creditcard .
    i thought to not pay the creditcard bill until issues ends.
    with late fees,intrest etc for 1+ year total bill went to 46000 .

    current issue:
    recently i applied for a personal loan they rejected because CIBIL report says
    i have due os RS.14170 on my credit card and i need to clear them to get loan.

    why there is a difference in amount (banks statement - RS.46000 & CIBIL's report - RS.14170) i think there is no transperancy between me,bank & CIBIL !
    can any one please help me ? which amount should i clear ?

    I am using ICICI bank credit card number 4477XXXXXXX8003 in chandigarh location,I have used this card approx 2.6 years & at that time all the payments are done on time, but due to recession I lost my jobs in June & then I was unable to do the payments, in October I get the job in Delhi & I have contacted ICICI bank regarding payment, they advised that card is blocked & only final settlement can be done. After discussion, customer care has asked me to submitt the 28000/- amount within 10days. But again unfortunatly I met with a little accident, I was unable to do the payment, now again I am trying to contact ICICI customer care but I am not getting any positive response. Please help me out. I want to activate my card & I am ready to pay 28000 as discussed as I dont want to be wrong paymaster, as I need loan after sometime for my marriage, if card cannot be activate then at that instance I need more discount from my payments & settlement letter, that I have no liablity. Please understand my genuine problem & Requested to help me out with early response. And Today I have received a call from Mumbai, person named snehal (SR123897500) asked me to payment before 3rd December, sir if you go with my mail, I already requested that at least I need one week time to arrange money & she has told that your settlement letter has sent to your address on 4th November, but till now I haven't received, when I asked about soft copy of that letter, she refuse to provide me that. Please help me, i am a good paymaster but unfortunately due to some bad times, I am facing this situation, hope you people will understand my problem & help me out.I am attaching the mail also which I received from ICICI bank care. Please go through it & advice.
