My father passed away two and a half years ago dated 4 August,2007 as
was suffering from renal failure. He had taken sum loan from the bank
against his credit card. Thus, his loan as well as his credit card
payments are due. The last date of payments to all the respective
banks was 31st July, 2007.
He has left his wife, his daughter i.e me and his son behind as
legal heirs. However, my mother is a housewife and me and my brother
are students studying under a study loan and scholarship respectively.
Also, he has not left any estate behind as all savings were spent on
his ill health. We are currently living in a rented house with
financial assistance provided by my uncles.
In view of the above conditions, we by no means can pay back the
payments to the banks. And despite repeated attempts to convey our
message to the bank, we have been exposed to harrasment and
exploitation by the DRA's.
I'd be obliged if any solution can be provided to me pertaining
to this matter at the earliest. Thanking you for your kind perusal.
