With reference to the above subject I would like to inform you that some fraudulent withdrawal has happened from my ICICI savings account. This is my salary account and this month when my salary was debited to the account the balance amount instead of getting increased was decreased to a value of Rs.-12,798.51.

No sooner did I come to know about the mishap, I contacted the ICICI bank call centre and it was informed to me by them that certain amount of credit card out standing amount was pending hence the same has been adjusted. I clarified them that I have closed my credit card outstanding in July 2005. Since then I was not using the credit card and there was no verbal or written communication from the ICICI bank authorities regarding the out standing of the credit card which they were claiming. At a later stage it was informed to me that I was required to contact the credit card collection department of ICICI Hyderabad branch. In Hyderabad branch they asked me to contact in credit card collection department of ICICI Vizag Hyderabad branch even after contacting the Vizag branch it was told to me that they are also not having any information regarding the same.

Hence I request you to kindly look into the matter and get it resolved as early as possible.
