    Default Wrong Billing - HDFC Bank Credit Card

    Regarding Credit Card No. 4346 7810 0731 0741


    Dear Sir,

    I Vinay Kumar Gupta, have been approched by your sale team a credit card, many times and collect all the necessary documents and signed the form and all copies of documents in a very hurry.

    They just conveyed me that HDFC is offering me free of cost Credit card with Life time free benefit.

    They conveyed my Purchase limit will be Rs. 300000.00 (three lacs) and Cash withdrawal will be Rs. 50000.00 only.
    Nothing will be charged by the bank for any of my transactions and provide discount benefits together with points and gifts.

    But in very 1st statement only I am surprised to see that you people made a fraud deal with me by charging extra amount on every transaction and provide me only Rs. 50000.00 credit limit, instead of Rs. 300000.00

    On approching Customer care on telephone dtd 05-10-2009, Request No. 09278042710 they says that this is surcharge and should be paid by you and not in your credit card facility.

    Sir, I was not expecting this to be done with me and not be good for a Highly reputed Multinational Bank of yours, to hide the charges first with the customers and later harrase them to pay.

    I politely request you to kindly reverse the charges (extra) from my statement and send reveresed statement asap.

    I am humbly waiting for your response as I have to deposit the bill to ensure you that I am your honest customer and won't do any fraudulant act with anybody.

    As a true citizen of India I further Request you to do the needfull.

    Dear Mr. Gupta,

    To sort out such kind of Banking complaints, you will have to send a written complaint to the Head Office of the concerned Bank and wait for the response for near 15 to 20 days. If the Bank fails to provide you any help in that time frame then you can send your written complaint to the RBIs Banking Ombudsman division.
