Hi,
There were 4 fraud transactions done on my credit card on 20th Dec 2009. After receiving SMS notification I disputed those transactions and was asked by the ICICI bank agent not to launch police complaint for the same as Bank will investigate and settle the matter internally. I got credit card was blocked from 21st Dec 2008.
They have given the decision in my favour for two transactions and the other two in bank's favour. They have also acknowledged that these are swipe transactions.
Interestingly, when these transactions were made, I purchased medicines from Hetro medical by making two payments using the same credit card. Whereas the other transactions were done almost 20~25 km away from from where I did the swipe transactions. In spite of explaining these things to bank agents so many times, they keep calling and today I got a threatening call say that either you make the payment or the information would be sent to recovery agents and they will do the needful.
I really want to take ICICI Bank to task for dealing with customers like this. Can somebody help to take this matter to right people address this issue.

There were 2 disputed transaction made on my ICICI credit card on March 4, 2010. The amounts were Rs. 34,920 and Rs. 4,428.
On March 4 at around 8:30, I received an SMS stating that there was a transaction of Rs 34920 on my card. So immediately I called the customer care to verify and came to know that there were 2 transaction. But I never received the SMS for the other transaction. It was also told to me that the transactions were done via phone. I asked them to block the card and registered the complain. I asked them whether i should lodge a police complain or not. But i was told not to do so as the investigation will be done by the bank. They asked me to send a fax to 02266466683 stating my complain request no. SR134552481 and the transaction details. On 10th March I received an SMS stating that "As per SR134652481, dispute on Credit Card 5019 for Rs.4428 is initiated on 09.03.10. We will revert with final resolution in 51 days." But I didnt receive any SMS regarding the other transaction. I called the customer care again to confirm whether it was initiated for the other transaction or not. They confirmed saying that it has been done and may due to certain network congestion or server error you might have not received the SMS for the other transaction. On the same day I received another two SMS stating "As per dispute through SR134652885 interim credit of Rs. 34920 given on 09.03.10." and "As per dispute through SR134652481 interim credit of Rs. 4428 given on 09.03.10." I have been calling the customer care on a weekly basis since then for finding out any progress in the investigation. But I have been disappointed every time. They ask me to wait till the 51 days are over. Can anyone tell how can a person keep his cool when around 40000 is stolen from his pocket and he is not sure what will be the verdict of the bank's investigation? How can I be sure that the bank is really doing an investigation. Can anyone help me out? I am really confused and worried.
