    Default HSBC Credit Card

    Hello Sir,

    I had an HSBC credit card long back in around 2004 which I never used. The card expired in 2007 and HSBC claims to have delivered renewal credit card to me at my old office address. I had left that office in 2005, so there is no way I could have received that card. Suddenly in May 2007 HSBC claimed some transactions (which I had never made because I had never received the renewed card). I raised a dispute by filling the HSBC dispute form. After that I did not hear back from HSBC till August 2009. Suddenly in August 2009 they started calling me for payment. When I told them the entire story, they asked me to give 25K to settle down matter forever and to minimise HSBC losses. I payed 25K only to know that nothing was settled. They are further claiming money from me. Now I am highly depressed and disturbed. Kindly advise what should I do?

    Angry HSBC Credit cart threatning calls

    Dear Sir

    I am using my HSBC credit card for more than 7 years as of now but due there unwanted calls I decided to cancel the above card & I did the same in the month of July 09. I cut the card into 4 pc’s and send to there head office with a official letter for cancellation of the above card with immediate effect & settle the balance outstanding. But on the other hand HSBC Bank officers are not ready to do the same and they are regularly calling at my residence and threaten my wife in abusive language and also threatens to send some people at my residence and so on. I talked to them so many times and asked them to settle the account but they are continuously charging all types of non sense charges in my account and not ready to settle.

    Someone kindly intervene into the matter and restrict them to use abusive language to myself and family members. How can restrict them in doing all nonsense things.

    Hi Mr Sheikh Irshad Ahmad,

    This is very much shocking that without using anything you have paid so much amount and then they are again asking for money...

    You said that your card expired in 2007, Have you placed a request to renew your card. If yes then they will definitely try to force you to pay.
    But if you have not placed any request for renewal then you can file a case stating that when you even have not placed any request then how they can issue a card in your name and send it to the address where you even don't belong to...

    First of all whenever any card comes thru courier then they see the ID card and then hand over to the respective person only... They are in any case not supposed to hand over the Card to any one on behalf of you...

    1 Yr earlier I requested an ADD-ON card in the name of my sister linking to my own CC as a Primary card. I was the one who was supposed to pay the bill for that card but then also they didn't gave it to me and asked for my sister's ID and all. Even when I showed the CC with me and my ID card and every proof that it is mine only then also they took it back and gave it back to the Bank.

    So In your Case you can easily file a case that
    "When they delivered it; You were not in that address and so they must have taken back the card to the bank or handed it over to any unauthorized person and thus all the transactions are invalid from your side..."

    And thus the amount payed by you is also invalid and you must ask for reimbursement of the same...

    I wish to apprise you by wrong and unlawful activities carried by HSBC Cr card division .There numbers are as follows.(04039807000, 04067347860, 04039807600 )

    I am holding an cr card no 43845xxxx0146111.Ever since i got to know that i will be shifting my base out of this country i requested HSBC cr cards division to give me workable figure which could be settled in some period of time (Settlement of amount) ever since then cr cards division started to harass me and my family .My Enthusiasm
    To settle this due within the time frame of 10 months was highly misread as weakness as
    Monthly payment mode yield very handsome interest.

    They are adamant in there approach and are forcing me minimum amount only and keep pressuring the same fact that effective 01 Jan 09 they have stopped settling any amount which was not intimated to me by any means. They had gone to extend of forcing my money out of my savings account directly inspite of no written ack to do so and my repeated reminders to banking division to not entertain any such activity .This shows illegal &unlawful and greed exhibited by HSBC bank towards there customer .I just want to retreat my point that i wish to have a amount against my outstanding which could be settled over a period of time. I have current proofs to show how other banks and car loans companies have considered my request since i am flying out of this country.HSBC is no unique bank who can force there own unique banking policies to there customers .Calling families and harassing them is completely not acceptable . I get calls from 04039807000, 04067347860, and 04039807600 which keep on harassing me and my family inspite of the fact that minimum amount due stands outstanding only for current month.

    I request you to please help me out in this case. I am a responsible customer of HSBC and want to settle this loan but harassment and pressure tactics is used in my case which is not appreciated .Please suggest me a way out from this .

    Default Wrongly swaped without my knowledge

    Yesterday my credit card was swapped by giving me wrong information for rs.5500 from my credit card no.4476925497293899 hsbc visa pls stop this transction and take action against the swapper

    Sir,
    My earlier credit card was free of charges , and totaly free of cost.
    Now, u have sent me new card, for extension of time validiti, but u have sent me bill and also started penalty.

    I do not want this card with any charges, and cancelled my card.
    If u agreed as per earlier conditions, and that is free of cost, then let me know, or u immeditely , cancell my credit card.
    I have not used this card so far.

    Default non receipt of renewed card

    my card no.4476929991494599 on30.04.2011 On 30.04.2011 i check the status and wish to take money through my credit card at Rajai Salai HSBC ATM.at 1400hrs. The card was retained by the ATM machine and advise to contact the customer care centre. I aproach the ccc on sunday morning regarding the mater and they will sdent the renewed card to my address witn 4 wordking days. And the card despatched through coruier <unfortunately, the card was returned by family without my
    knowledge. Hence please arrange to sent the renewed card to my address or alternative address by informing tome as early as possible.
