I am Shashank Joshi, from Nasik.

I am holding 2 cards of CITI Bank. I have NO issue with one card. I have issue with my second Card.

I had a outstanding amount of Rs.1,59,873.17. The CITI banks Nasik presentative from RMS services visited my office to collect cheque(5th June 2009). As I was doing the settlement , the representative called CITIBank's Chennai office and confirmed the amount to be collected. I also spoke to the Executive and confirmed the amount, I have to pay is Rs.1,48,000/- as FINAL Settlement. I raised the question - how do I believe, this is final settlement. The gentalman said, he will send letter and told the Local representative, to write "FINAL SETTLEMENT" on the receipt. Accodingly the RECEIPT was issued.
June 09 month went smooth after the person collected the cheque.

In the month of July 2009, I was shocked, when I have received the statement, stating Rs.1,48,000/- accounted but Balance is Rs.14,455.11 is outstanding.

I have started receiving the calls from CITIBank callers asking me to pay the money. I have narrated the whole story to atleast 10 different callers. Later on I got irritated, as they started clling me at 8.30 am on my mobile. I use to say Hallo, Hallo, and NO replied from other end. After few seconds they use to call me on land line... fe spoke nicely and few very arougntly . . ultimate was asking WHEN YOU ARE MAKING PAYMENT ?

In the mean time, I visited RMS Services office (at Kanhere wadi, Nasik) and spoke to one lady. In turn she also spoke to Mr.JOHN at Aurangabad and confirmed that he will look into the matter and told me to talk to him. After a weeks time I spoke to Mr.John, he listen to me quitely and said he will come back to me within 2 days. That 2 days are not yet over.

I have pointed out the fact to their web site "IndiaServices" . . and tipical answer was given, "" we have received your complaint and we shall revert within 5 working days" - but NO use.

Ultimately I have written to CITIBanks CEO and Manager Credit Card., on 9th Sept.09 . . their reply is still awaited...................

I am receiving the calls from Mumabi No.022-66489798, 2266427800.
I have stored almost 24 SMS reminding me to make the payment immediately.

They are harashing on everyday and today (23/9/09) a peson came to my home ( when I am not at home) asking my wife to give the cheque . . . being told to him by some Ms.Varsha to collect the cheques, which i have kept at home.

So long I was trying to resolve the issue... . but now it is too much and feel to come to CONSUMER COURT to take appropriate action against CITIBank.
