Am holding ABN AMRO credit card from past 3 yrs, i have no issues with that but from past 6-7 month am not received any statment, and i have registred with customer care by no proper response on this, i have balance of Rs.3000-3500 but now they asking me to pay 6500 for not my mistake. if bank not responding properly formy quries. i want to know what i need to do i need you help in this.

To sort out such kind of Banking complaints, you will have to send a written complaint to the Head Office of the concerned Bank and wait for the response for near 15 to 20 days. If the Bank fails to provide you any help in that time frame then you can send your written complaint to the RBIs Banking Ombudsman division.

I Had a credit card from ABN Amro Bank the no:************ 6106

In July-2006,I received a call from ABN AMRO offering a lifetime free membership
with a benifit of Domestic Holiday package along with to & fro flight tickets which
was costing Rs.2495/-

I confirmed the acceptance of the package & the amount was charged on my credit card.

Year later i received a stateemnt where i was charged Rs.595/- as renewal charges

My card till then was not converted in to lifetime free membership nor i received
any acknowledgement of the package ,

since I am not benifited for the amount i was charged for the past one

year i called up the customer care to look into this issue on 30/06/07

The customer care executive as sent a request for the reversal of Rs.595/-which was
charged as a membership fee in the statement received for the month of july - 2007
(REQ REF-82052364)

It is very clear that the card was not converted into life time free membership fee
& once again after consulting my legal consultant I called up to the customer care
asking for the reversal of Rs.2495/- charged in July-2006

Any how Customer care executive denied the request saying that the Membership fee
charged for the year 2007 as been reversed & the Process of converting the card into
free life time membership is on

This was clearly a poor service from the bank where in even after charging for
converting card to lifetime free membership, the process was not executed

That point of time i had a due of approximately Rs.2500/-, for which i denied to
make the payment till the compliant is resolved

I have not received any positive reply regarding this

Now because of this my name is listed in CIBIL and not able to apply for any loans

I look forward as of what to be done in this case

My name is Adarsh G Ganvir.

I used to use your ABN AMRO bank credit card no *********** 4445.
The last payment made by me was in the month of March 09, detailed
confirmation mail attached.
During making the payment of Rs.24,000/- (Chq no - 623648) i confirmed in
the customer care also & also with your officer in Delhi office.
After more than 6-months, now i have again received a call on my mobile no.
that some amount of Rs. 8000/- is still outstanding. I have received a call
today from 01147681300.

I am again repeating that i have paid the complete amount with asking the
concernt officer of your bank.

I am also marking a carbon copy of this mail to consumer court to file my
case against the bank for mental harrasment and irrevelent calls and also
absurd words as used by the callers on phone. Please help me out from this &
save my souls.

sir,
i am in deep trouble since january 2009 against my abnamro credit card kindly
sove my problem as soon as possible other wise bank & collection department day
by day they are threatening me.

Plz refer to mine Credit Card No.5239504003629253.

I have been not reciving any bills etc since long as stated below.

And i also discussed many times to your customer care exutive in this regard.

Finally, i've made the payment that has been ocurred by me and as
guided by your customer care executive.

But the additinal charge has been till now not waived off, only
continued to sms me & called me for paying more amount.

I have very very good track record with all othere Bank, no late
payment, no ineterest etc for any point of times during last couple of
years. But it is only ABN Amro Bank that keeps on adding some times
this & that charges. And as a result, i've not been using ABN Amro
Card only keeping with me. Even if i have requested your executive to
get it cancelled but it's in vain.

So i request you to do the needful & waive off all the charges. And if
possible get mine card cancelled. I don't need it at all.

Abn Amro - credit card Chennai Division manager Mr. Ajay (contact :
9884020266) closed the settlement deal to Ten thousand on which he claimed
that he's sent me an conformation mail to my ID, as discussed he demanded me
to clear Rs. 1800 ie my monthly instalment. and the pending amount after
once he issues me the NOC which he said would take 3 days to process.i ve
never got an NOC nor CONFORMATION MAIL from his side i too have the
collection executives number for record. i was TRICKED BY FALSE COMMITS &
PROMSING SERVICE NOTE. After this i called up TEL: 04466364639 the number
from which i get the calls as to pay the EMI inspite of clearing all the
formalities they just put the call of by saying just pay the EMI and dont
waste your phone balance by calling STD calls for these issues and they
claim that thers nobody by name AJAY-MANAGER who spoke to me from the same
number so it is FRAUD ACT FROM ABN AMRO.
