I would like to seek your guidance on HDFC Credit Cards. I am mentioning in brief the complaint. Please let me know if this could be filled at a District Consumer Court ?
* The Credit Card Company consistently sending me know statements of accounts, where entries have been duplicated and this the total amount payable has been inflated. I had brought it to the notice to the Credit Card companies via email to the customer service department as well as 2 letter
to the GM. But since the past 4 months, they have not replied to the same and continue to follow the amount as per their records. I had given in writing my substantiating my accounts and my calculation but they are not commenting to the same and turning a blind eye. The amount payable as per
their accounts is about Rs 15,000/- excess. * I have been insisting that they send me the statement of
accounts since Jan 2005 to April 2005 which I have not received. But they are not doing the same. It proves they have something to hide. I had requested them to send the same via courier or registered post but they are not doing the same. * I have won 4 gifts on a Dream Come True offer of HDFC Bank.
For the past 8 months they have not send me the gift but giving false promises of early dispatch of the gift.
Please let me know if I could bring these up in a consumer court for justice ?

I have made a payment of every thing that is late payment charges and intrest charges to my card due to some health issues I did not paid to biller in time then later I paid total outstanding balance of my statement then also Kotak credit card people did not stand on their words .
As they confirmed that after making a payment of total due of my card I can use the card as usual in earlier but later they did not activated my card

I VINAYAK.SAKATE , am a HDFC Bank customer for almost 6yrs now . Being a loyal customer with one of the top banks in Asia (as HDFC markets itself) , least I expect is transperancy .. if not VVIP treatment . However my expectations were blown into pieces the day I signed up for a Credit Card . Activation of un-autorised add-ons & services was just a starter . I got a shocker when , on the 28-nov-11 , I learnt that my payment has been set for EMI "without my autorization" .
As per HDFC bank customer service records , I called in on the 22-nov-11 , spoke with SHARAYU & asked for EMI services . I did call up HDFC , spoke with a lady & INQUIRED about EMI services .. I NEVER ASKED TO SETUP EMI . If I would not have checked my account balance on the 28-nov-11 , I would have never known of any such EMI service on my account .
I was expecting a deduction on my HDFC bank account on the 25-nov (my bill payment date ) , however till the 28-nov I didnt see any deduction . I called up HDFC Card cust service , the advisor told me that my current bill & the next month bill (total Rs.24000) has been setup for EMI . I WAS SHOCKED & the only word that came to my mind was FRAUD .
I escalated this to the supervisor ASHISH , who said he will escalate it . however I demand a serious investigation into this , as if I would not have been "vigilant" on my side . I would have been a victim of fraud.

I have a HDFC Credit Card. Last month I made a purchase of Rs. 14,300 with a six month EMI option. Before making the payment I made 2 calls to the customer service number to conform the charges associated (Date 17-12-2011, Time 17:50 (Duration 1.40 minutes) 19:00 (1.19 minutes)) I have proof for the same from my mobile service provider. The customer care executive told me that if the purchase is converted into EMI by the merchant then HDFC wouldn't charge me any additional fee and it would be a direct (total amount/6). Even after the purchase I made a call to the customer service and inquired about the purchase and I was told that it would be a direct division. However when this month's statement came there was a processing fee of Rs. 743 (an interest of 10.2% pa). I called up the customer care thrice about the same and every time the supervisor was busy (this was spanning three days). The third time I noted the name of the executive (Chandana) and got a request number (12006446223) and I am yet to receive a call back. And my number was never not reachable during this time.
I would want HDFC to check what there customer care executive have said to me by checking the call logs mentioned and if I am wrong I an ready to pay the amount and if otherwise I want them to reverse entry. However their response to the query was very unprofessional and I wouldn't want to deal with someone like this in the future. These things only damage the goodwill of a company. If I am not getting any response from the bank before the bill due date (22/1/2012) I intend to move against the bank in court.
To add I have made such a purchase couple of months back and I was not charged any such processing fee in that instance. It was also for a six month EMI.

many times but i told them to rectify their problem and dont send the wrong statements.

I had a Standard & Chartered Credit Card No. 4129 0586 8714 5678 which expired on 02/2011. The last payment due was of Rs. 16300/- which was confirmed thru phone banking and paid in full within due date thru HDFC net banking.Post this there was absolute silence from the bank for almost 7-8 months. Then suddenly from Nov 2011 a payment reminder daily sms started coming on my mobile without mentioning any overdue amount & asking me to visit their website for details.Since I cleared everything, I never bothered to check the details.Then suddenly in the beginning of April 2012, I received a call from +919971475599 asking me to clear an overdue of Rs. 5600/- immediately.When I confronted that I have cleared all that was due, I was told that my final payment was received late by a day or so (which wasn't a correct info) owing to which a penal interest of Rs. 765/- was levied which now on compounded interest has become Rs. 5600/-. To square up the case they offered me to pay Rs. 3600/- up front and settle the account.When I denied to pay up as I felt it was not ethical on the bank's side to charge this interest, she threatened me that they will spoil my credentials thru cibel.I need justice on this front.
