    Default HSBC Credit Card CIBIL Case

    Hello,

    This is a grievance case with HSBC Bank Credit Card.

    I had a CC with the HSBC bank in 2006 where the last statement I received was somewhere in November 2006.

    Unfortunately I made cash payment at their Pujagutta, Hyderabad branch and do not save the receipt.

    I then left for USA in February 2007, after that I received an email from HSBC stating that there is some outstanding but they didn’t send me any statement / bill

    I called their Hyderabad call center and resolved the matter over the phone and agreed that there is no outstanding

    I returned to India in December 2008 and last month received a phone call from HSBC stating I have an outstanding of INR15000

    I tried finding more details and found out that there was an outstanding after November 2006 of INR3800 for which have not received and statement

    Without sending any notice or intimation, the bank has made me a defaulter with CIBIL for INR15000

    The authority CIBIL has filed this case without any notice or intimations which is very irresponsible of them

    I would like to know what is the possible solution to this problem other than making a payment of INR15000.

    Dear Sir,

    To sort out such kind of Banking complaints, you will have to send a written complaint to the Head Office of the concerned Bank and wait for the response for near 15 to 20 days. If the Bank fails to provide you any help in that time frame then you can send your written complaint to the RBIs Banking Ombudsman division.

    Post ABN AMRO credit card dispute and abusive language

    Dear Advocate,

    I have a ABN AMRO credit card. Card nos.
    Primary Card Number: 5415 3824 0076 0344 on my name and

    Add On Card: 5415 3824 0076 0369 on my spouse name.

    I have using the card and making timely payments. One fine day in march 2009, one guy from ABN AMRO came and asked for the payment of a differnt card no.5415 3824 0463 0428 for RS 33,000 stating that this is on my spouse name. I had showed them my card nos and said this is not our card and do not know about the transactions. He checked the card nos. and went away asking to wrtie a formal letter to the noida head office. After that I had written a formal letter to head office explaining the whole issue. I got a call after that from noida office, explained them that One day I received the message to update contact details and address calling the customer care before this issue which I had not done due to busy schedule. Then a guy from ABN AMRO came and took the imprint of my card and id proof and took signatures. Thats it, I had not applied for any card on my wifes name. Then they said that they will investigate. After that I had not received any call till 2 months, then I got a call to make the payment. Again I had mailed 'n' number of complaints to ABN AMRO, nothing really happened and no use. Now in this month sep 2009 colletions guy called up and abused me and my family in a very vulgar language, threatning to kill me nad my family and take the payment. I had recorded the whole conversation and sent the attachment to the higher ups.I had escalated this issue to the higgher ups of ABN AMRO. They had asked for 48 hrs time and nothing happned, then again 48hrs, now they are reverting back to me that I had signed the declaration form, Which I had not. That had been manuplated by agent or the bank people. But using such an abusive language is unethical on the part of any organisation and literraly I had lost my work since a week this issue been happening. No resolution on the abusive language used and again asking for the payment which Im not responsible for they are trying to force me for the payment.

    Please suggest me what should I do regarding the abusive language and the payment of the fraud card which they are forcing me to do.

    Dear Advocate,

    After working with HSBC via RBI Ombudsman, the bank asked me to pay only the actual outstanding and almost after a month or so they had given me "Post Written-Off Settled" and a week later "Settled" statement. How does this affect my Credit history and is this the correct way to address it?

    Unhappy HSBC credit card outstanding balance not updated in CIBIL

    Hello,
    This is a grievance case with HSBC Bank Credit Card.
    I have paid whole amount with fine for morethan 20000/- to hsbc bank as a credit card due last year Aug 2010 and they(hsbc) told as they have updated the nil balance in Cibil as there is no outstanding balance. And then I applied for loan in another bank for twice and they rejected my loan both the times as saying as the cibil amount still shows the outstanding balance as nearly 19000/-.
    As the amount is paid to hsbc, they have closed my credit card account also, but they have not updated the same in cibil and due to this , i am unable to perform any of my loan needs and transactions etc etc. I am really want a solution for this , because if the cibil is not updated, then this issue will be a problematic for me in the future also and won't be able to get the loans for my needs.
    Hence , I need a solution for this. Please reply. Thanks!

    Dear Concern
    from last few days, i m getting calls from some JM finace service and they say i have to pay the outstanding amount to them and they are calling on behalf of HSBC. my actual outstanding was some around 13k which is become few lacs in todays date it was happend cause of there not timely billing and unneccearry charges, i want ur valuable suggestion on this what amount i have to pay to get rid out of this and can i pay through the court too.
