is is with reference to the late charges and the interest charges regularly being
levied on account of non-payment of the amount which is not payable by the
undersigned. The brief of the case is as follow;-

·In March, 2009 Cheque No.A704507 dated 12th March, 2009 for an amount of
Rs.3,770/- was paid against the outstanding amount.
·For the reason best known to the bank, this was not credited and hence was
shown as non-payment.
·No. of telephone calls were made to various Executives of Customer Care and
after producing the proof that our bank account has been debited, finally accepted
having received the payments.
·The interest and late charges, which were initially charged, continues to
have shown outstanding and a further interest and late charges are being levied for
this outstanding amount, which actually is not outstanding. This has been conveyed
to your various Executives time and again and every time it was assured that the
same will be rectified. However, even in my last bill of August, 2009 the amount is
shown.

I am sorry to put it on record that for no fault of mine I am unnecessarily being
harassed and my credibility is being questioned. Number of times your Executives
have conveyed that the action will be taken and we will revert back but no reply
received. I am continuing with this card just because I had faith in Standard
Chartered Bank. I must mention that if the corrective action is not taken
immediately, I will have no choice but to take up with the Consumer Court and also
to the Reserve Bank Authorities, and opt to discontinue the usage of this card.
