I have purchased Sony Vaio on 11th Aug 2011 having serial number 7000099 and model name is: VPCEG18FG/B E1.
I visited R.L. PROPERTIES AND INVESTEMENTS, SONY AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE, 606, 80 FEET ROAD, 4TH BLOCK, KORAMANGALA, BANGALORE - 34, on 3rd September 2011.
The JOB SHEET number given by them at that time was WS101158111090500042 with the complaint against faulty speaker. I got my laptop back on 7th September, 2011 and they told me that the speaker had been replaced but the problem was not resolved rather it was in the same condition.

Again I went there on 10th Sep 2011 regarding the same issue. The JOB SHEET number provided by them at that time was WS101158111091000092. They told me that it will take 2 days for fixing the speaker issue. After 2 days when I called them, they told me that it will take 2 more days. On 14th Sep they told me that my laptop will be replaced with a new one and it will take 2 days. When I called them after 2 days i.e. on 16th Sep 2011, they told me to visit their SERVICE CENTRE to check the laptop if it was working fine. In case it was not working fine it will get replaced by a new one. I went there and found the same issue. Then they assured me that it will get replaced for sure within 2 days. After that when I called them after 2 days, they told me that it will take another 2 days to get replaced. But I did not get my laptop back. On 23rd Sep, they told me that motherboard will be changed and it will take another 2 days. When I contacted them on 26th Sep, they told me that one laptop of same series has come to one the SERVICE CENTERS in Bangalore. Now what they will do is, they will put the other laptop’s motherboard in my laptop and will test the same. In case if it works fine then they will request SONY for sending the motherboard and they are not giving me any timeline that when they will deliver the laptop to me. Even I spoke to Bhashkar who is Area Engg. for Bangalore region. He told me that they follow the same procedure as per the company policy. They are flatly refusing to give anything in written and email communication.
I spoke to one of the customer care executives Sahil and he told me that a request for the laptop replacement had been raised on 20th Sep, 2011 by the SERVICE CENTER and he suggested me to send a mail from my side by mentioning all the details of the laptop and scan copy of Bill and Warranty Card. I have spoken many times to lot of people and what they all do is they all talk round around. I had written a mail but none of you responded for the same. The REFRENCE NUMBER of my previous mail is 8148876. So many times I tried to get information about this REFRENCE NUMBER but none of them entertained me. Every one said to me like they will reply me but I didn’t get any reply.
On 26th they told me that by updating the audio software and vaio software your laptop is working properly. I visited service centre same day but still speaker was not working properly. And they told me after asking Bhaskar only they will update me about status through email, but till now I didn’t get any mail and call from Service Centre.
