Hello sir,
I have been using a Viewsonic LED monitor for my PC for the last 8 months. Recently I had to travel for a few weeks and the PC was left untouched in a locked room. After I had returned and turned on I found the screen was showing some black patches and half of the screen was not viewiable. So I contacted the customer care of Viewsonic india providing all the details about the product and asked for repairs.
There was no response from them for 3 days and then they did reply, asking me to sent a picture of the screen. I promptly sent them the picture. After 2 days I get a message from them stating that the monitor is not damaged and does not need to be repaired because it is within "tolerances"
I asked them how can the monitor be within tolerance when half of the screen is useless? Then after 2 days I get another reply that the monitor has been misused and cannot be repaired under warranty. So I ask them how they can make such assumptions without ever sending a technician or engineer to inspect or assess the actual problem I am facing. To that they never replied.
I have also send the same complaint to the India distributor of Viewsonic (Inspan Infotech) who also has not responded to my mails.
I would like to know how to proceed with this issues as I was promised 2 year warranty and has been denied warranty in 8 months.
Thankyou
