    Default Pen drive shows " The disk is write protected"

    HI,
    I am Anil Hambir. I am currently using Transcend 4GB pen drive. but problem is that few days ago it was infected by viruses and now it shows the massage that is " the disk is write protected." I cant format it. i cant store any information on it.




    Please help me to solve that pronlem.

    i have purchase 8 gb pendrive(transcend) in the month of SEPTEMBER 2009 IN a pc shop, but now the the pendrive is defective. so sir please replace the pendrive or try to solve problem.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I have a very typical problem. I have a Transcend 16GB pen drive which was working very fine till a few days ago.

    Just a couple of days ago, i tried using Partition Magic 8.0 on my windows, where in it asked for a Floppy to be inserted and by mistake, i selected the pen drive.

    Now the system reads and detects the pen drive as having only 1.44Mb capacity with fat 12 file system.

    I have some crucial data on the pen drive which i cannot afford to loose. So please tell me a solution by which i can access my old data and also get the pen drive to be recognised as 16GB without any loss of data.

    An early response and positive response would help me a lot.

    That I have Paid on Same Date.

    responsible for this. throw this Pendrive or what you can do you do."

    to forward it to the service center located in the same building but later he said that
    there is shortage from the company side and its been almost month now and at the moment
    they are replying that it might take another 30-40 days and still thay are not sure whether
    they will be able to give me a replacement of pen drive

    I request U regarding Complain ( received by Transcend pen drive user ) , that the please give me proper
    response against my client complain, I am retailer of your Product,
    If u R unable to give me Well response then i will have to close to sale your product immediate,

    Reason is all pen drive user telling me that if U can not give support then why U selling this brand, so tell me how i
    will afford more ?
    Actually i am your retailer, so if U R unable to give me support with in 7-to 10 days regarding pen drive then please
    confirm me immediate,

    Problem By your service / service center :-

    1. Not accepting pen drive for Repairing / Replacement due to partly ( 1 % ) sticker is removed, when in use this
    cause be possible U also feel this.
    2. Taking 2 - 4 monts for repairing or replacement,

    etc.......

    But i will request u please solve this problem as soon possible, otherwise i will take necessary action aganist next complain.
