It has been a long time that I wanted to take an action against authorities
at various petrol pumps. There are two petrol pumps on the ring road at
Nehru Nagar, New Delhi-110065. They do fraud while supplying petrol in
vehicles. They change the meter reading by opening the meters & putting hand
inside that.

Twice it has happened with me that I asked them to fill complete tank in my
car but they fill only about Rs.200/- first & then apologize by saying they
did not hear it correctly and after that when they are asked to fill it,
other person comes to distract attention by asking mode of payment, bill
receipt etc. In the meanwhile they change meter reading.



It's really disturbing me. Such incidents must be happening all over the
country. But no action is taken against these issues. At Noida, so much of
mixing is done in Petrol but still many of petrol pumps are running very
well and also earning a lot because of the fraud.


It is my sincere request to you to kindly look into the matter & warn all
the petrol pumps not to adopt such practices. Some checks should also be
made over them. Some punishment should also be declared for the same.

I have an i10 Asta car bought in
Jan 2009.



Please see attached specs of the car. The fuel tank capacity is 35
liters.



Yesterday, I filled the tank till overflow and the petrol which went in
( as shown on the meter of the Petrol Station) was more than 44 liters.
I have the receipt too with my car number written on the same.



How do I go about dealing with this rogue petrol station? It is a
Bharat Petroleum Petrol Station.
