I had visited the Kaya Skin Clinic in Vile Parle East, Mumbai to seek treatment for laser hair removal for chin hair. After the initial consultation, I was asked to take 8 lazer sessions for removal of chin hair. I went ahead with the treatment and the sessions. After completion of the 8 sessions I realized that not only the hair had not gone I had also developed an excess hair growth (more than twice the original number) on areas when I did not have hair before. I was really disappointed with the service and went for laser consultation to another Kaya Skin Clinic at the Lokhandwala Branch (Andheri West Branch). There the Doctor had a look at my hair growth and told me that the excess additional hair growth was triggered by the lazer. The Doctor also adviced me that it was no point in doing lazer since I was a PCOD patient, the hair would grow back again.
Apparently the Doctor at the Vile Parle East Clinic was at fault and he had also misguided me inspite of me clearly telling him that I was sufferring from PCOD. If I knew that my condition would not improve why would I invest so much time and money in it in the first place.
Also not only has my condition improved but it has clearly and visibly worsened. This is clearly the Doctors fault since how can the hair growth increase??
I want justice and I am really disappointed that Kaya would resort to misspelling and misguiding just to make a quick buck at an innocent persons cost. This is clearly unethical Business practice.
