Complaint:

I’m a Customer of TTK Healthcare TPA Pvt Ltd.My Policy Number
4034/CHI/02132610/00/000. According to my policy, TTK has promised to
reimburse my expenses if any that i incur on hospitalisation. TTK has also
promised both opd claim as well as hospitalized claim amount will be paid
through cheque in 21 days from the date of bills, receipts and documents
sent.

I got admitted on 15-02-09 to 02-03-2009 and again on 07-03-2009 to
18-03-2009 in “Sakri Nursing Home" on account of fever of unknown origin and
was later investigated for malaria. The total expenditure that i incurred on
treatement was approx 72000.

Though I was having the claim facility in my Organization where I was
working at the time of my surgery, I wanted my claim to be done by TTK only,
Considering TTK promised to pay in 21 days. I submitted all my Original
Documents with bills and receipts to TTK office in Mumbai office on
15-05-2009. On 09-06-2009 i got a letter from TTK asking for some additinoal
documents namely a) Orginal Discharge Card + Photocopies of Indoor Case
Papers b) Original Investigation Report and c) Details of Breakup of Lab
charges.

Due to some problem at my end i forwarded the documents on 28-09-2009 and
which were received by the TTK at thier Mumbai office on 30-09-2009. As per
the communication with Customer care i was eing told that i will receive my
cheque within 21 days. I have been cosntantly following up with the customer
care for my claim but in vain. Moreover on 10-11-2009 one executive
confirmed me that i have not frwarded the Original Discharge card to them to
which i replied through mail that i have already forwarded the same and also
attached the scan copy of the discharge slips. I have made several calls
and sent mails in this regards till 10-11-2009 I was told that the claim is
in process, will receive the payment shortly.

Its been more than 1.5 month that i have submitted the documents and sick
and tired of following up with the customer care. Till date I have been
depressed for the delay in payment and spent my time and money making STD

Request:

Required my applicable claim of approx Rs.72000 from the Insurance company
and penalize them for their negligence, depression caused, right
value for my money and time spent on the process.
