Hi,
i have personally had this experience in INOX Bangalore but guess the practice is the same in most big Cinemas.
the cinemas don't allow patrons to bring in food or water from outside .
i can understand and accept to a certain extent outside food even though it is grossly overcharged inside the Cinema, but restricting water and charging double is unfair.
A bottle of kinleyin inox is charged Rs 30 as against the marked price of Rs 15. Water is essential and bringing it from home is going to cost me nothing or even buying it from a shop 2 floors down is going to cost me Rs 15. I don't understand why I should not bring water for outside.
I would like peruse this seriously and would like to understand how to file a case if needed and if there have been any past judgements in this regard in relation to restriction of drinking water.
Thanks
