I had booked tickets on 23rd June 2012 (Saturday) through big cinemas india website for the following movie:


Madagascar 3 (2D) (U)
Show date 24 June 2012 (Sunday)
11:55 AM show
Big Cnemas, Palm Beach Road, Galleria Mall
i used my credit card ending "734"
and imatter card for further discount



I booked tickets worth Rs.174 (2 tickets in middle section)
but during payment, i got an email saying booking failed from bigcinemas and the seats were still vacant

so as i got "failed" message i re-booked different seats but everything else same !!!
So this time i got confirmed tickets !!!

but i got 2 Messages of Rs.174 being debited to my account from my bank
which means there was a double payment !!!!

SO i emailed big cinemas that time only and i got an automated reply that refund is in process

but now it is 9 days (2.7.12)
and i have still not received any refund or any update from BigCinemas !!!!

Please help me out !!!!

My name is Manoj Parmar.This is regarding a wrong charge being levied on me for an unsuccessful transaction done through BIG CINEMA'S website.


I was trying to book 2 movie tickets two times on 2nd July 2012 for Big Cinemas ( Mehul - Jamnagar) for the movie "Rowdy Rathod".The final amount was Rs. 270/-. After selection of the seats I entered my credit card details and confirmed the transaction from my end. The website went unresponsive and it showed an error message stating there is some problem with the website. I also received an e-mail from bigcinemas about the transactuion failure. So my tickets were not booked but I have still been charged with Rs. 270/- Wrongfully.My bank statement shows the deduction on the name of Reliance media. I want a refund ASAP. I have send an email to support@bigcinemas.Com but didnt get any reply as the mails bounce back due to their less storage.

Dear Sir/Madam:

My name is Baskar John. I tried to book 3 tickets today, July 13, 2012, for the movie Naan EE (Tamil) for July 14, 6:45 PM show at Big Cinemas, KG, Race Course Road online, but the booking failed.

Rs. 300 has been deduced from my ICICI bank account. I want Big cinemas to refund me the amount. I have sent them many mails for which there is not even one response from their end. Kindly help me get my refund.
