Same problem!
I was trying to book for a show in PVR Cinemas Chennai on 13th Feb 2011.
I took the option of debit card, and completed my payment transaction. At the end of payment you are told the transaction is not completed and the money will be refunded.
And as you have mentioned, Acknowledgment of failed transaction are never sent on the email id and mobile nos collected on the form while booking.
I was successful with net banking but now I find there are repeated charges and I still haven't received a refund
