Hollywood actress Barbara Streisand has collaborated with songwriter/vocalist Barry Gibb for a new music CD that is set for release next month.

To set the stage for this, Columbia Records Tuesday released the 25th anniversary edition of Streisand's multi-platinum "Guilty Pleasures" as a DualDisc.

Produced by Barry Gibb and John Merchant, with Streisand and Jay Landers as its executive producers, the new "Guilty Pleasures" features the 11 tracks of the original - "Come Tomorrow", "Above The Law" (both duets with Barry Gibb), "Stranger In A Strange Land", "Hideaway," "It's Up To You," "Night Of My Life," "Without Your Love," "All The Children," "Golden Dawn," "(Our Love) Don't Throw It All Away," and "Letting Go."

The DualDisc edition includes the album in its entirety on the audio-only side while the DVD side will showcase all 11 songs in PCM Stereo, an interview with Streisand and Gibb, and music videos of "Above The Law", "Hideaway," "Stranger In A Strange Land" and "Letting Go."

"Guilty Pleasures" made pop music history as a worldwide chart-topping smash that helped define the emerging adult contemporary pop music genre following its release in 1980.

One of the four top-selling albums - alongside "Greatest Hits Vol.2", "A Christmas Album", and "Memories" - in Streisand's catalog, the original "Guilty" became her fifth album to reach the number one spot on Billboard's Pop Albums chart.

Shortly after its release, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified "Guilty" as Gold, with Platinum status following in two months. "Guilty" has gone on to be certified 5x Platinum, with sales exceeding five million copies in the US and 12 million worldwide.

With 49 Gold, 30 Platinum and 13 Multi-Platinum albums to her credit, Streisand is the music industry's number one best-selling female artist and the only woman in RIAA's Top 10 list of artists.
