On the 24-Dec-09, I tried booking 4 tickets for Avatar movie throught he website pvrcinemas.com. Due to some glitch in the site, the transaction wasnt successful. A messagebox showed up everytime saying something like, "Your tickets cannot be booked, If money has been debited from your account it will be refunded".

I tried 6 times, 2 times with Debit Card and 4 times with Credit Card. Ther transaction was successful at the 6th attempt.
But to my surprise, I was charged for the 5 failed attempts as well.

It has been 11 days but till date, I have not received any communication from PVR cinemas even after sending several reminder emails to them. My bank says that the amount has been deposited in the PVR account, but not refunded.

To summarize

Amount for 1 booking : Rs. 1480/-

Amount charged from me : 1480 * 6 = Rs. 8880/-

Amount to be refunded : 1480 * 5 = Rs. 7440/-

i had booked 3 tickets for harry potter and the deathly hallows on 21st nov at pvr cinemas ,kormangala, bangalore,the amount being Rs 930. Since my session expired, my tickets were not booked but the amount was deducted from my account.I got a message that my amount will be refunded in 3 working days.I sent many mails to their customer support but i haven't got any response yet.Till date i haven't received my money yet.
