Hi,

I have a Samsung DVD which is about 4-5 years old, I bought is sometime in 2006.

I had a problem with my DVD as it stopped working a couple of months back. It is not able to detect any CD/DVD. I called up Customer care 'n' of of times to a get a service for the repairing or cheking of the DVD player. They gave me a complaint number and a local service centre number at my hometown (ratlam, MP). When I called up at the local number, the centre asked me to bring the DVD player at their centre. While asked for a home service, they refused to do that. Disappointingly, I called up customer care again and told them about the refusal made by the local service centre. The customer care executive informed me that they very well provide service at home with the visiting fee. They took me the details about the local centre and assured me to take some action against them, at the same time they ensured me to get a call from Samsung to address my grievance in 2 hours of time which never happened. No action has been taken on my complaint,n either for the DVD nor for the service centre. After 7 days, I again called up the global customer care and they could not update me on the status of the request. The lady executive told me that all are managers are busy at this time and I assure you to get a call in another 60 mins from one of our managers to address your request. Hpurs passed by and again I did not receive any call. I again called up customer care and again the same thing was told to me that somebody will surely get in touch with you shortly. The calling sequence continued and now its been more than a month, my request has still not been addressed.

Recently I had to buy an LCD and I opted for Sony over Samsung because of their poor services, it really sucks!!!

I want someone to help me to end this story and bring me out of the misery that I am in for last 1 month.
