    Angry Complaint against TATA Motors for Manufacturing faults in TATA Indica Vista

    Hi,

    I am a owner of TATA Indica Vista Safire(Aurra) model with Reg No :- MH-02 BG 9677.
    Purchase Date :- 14/11/2008
    Dealer :- Wasan Motors(Chembur)
    Isued Dealer:- Wasan Motors (Borivali-E)

    I want a replacement for this car as soon as possible. I have have faced many issues since i purchased this car. for e.g. Centre Locking Problem, Back door problem, 5th tyre issue of wrong size, power windows etc..

    But the most fatal problem i faced today is ENGINE BREAKDOWN.

    While travelling my engine broke and fell down. There was no accident. It happened self only on driving. On openning the fron bonnet i saw the engine has fallen down with Bolt Nuts and axel broken. I was surprised how can an engine break and fell like this. This is totally manufacturing fault from TATA MOTORS.

    I want to sue against TATA Motors on this. My car is still under 18 month warranty and TATA Authorised service centre (JP Autoworld) has assured me that all parts will be fixed from TATA Motors but what if the warranty passes.???

    Can engines break down like this in midway..????

    Exclamation Indica V2 Xeta-GLG 2006 Model

    Respected Sir/madam,

    Please have a look at the mail forwarded:

    This complaint is also been lodged in Tata complaint cell via complaint no: 1-7886924071
    but of no avail.

    I bought my first car as indica xeta glg petrol-2006 model, after a while around 6000 kms I faced a prob which is car stopped while a.c is on, I complained this to him Motors-patparganj several times but of no avail now car is 18000kms problem remains the same.This is to bring in everyone's notice that this is a threat to life as well.
    I went to nainital and while i am alligning to hills car came in front of me I applied a break and moment I applied a brake my car stopped since in mpfi engines we can use break only once if car stopped I used it once then agter when i need it again it fails my car started rolling break and i was helpless.This is a one incidence.
    Then I became adamanant to rectify this problem and went to service station again they thoroughly checked the car and said that my fuel pump needs to be changed I agreed to that and paid 6, 800Rs. after a short term I faced a same problem now they told me my fuel injectors needs to be changed which costs me 10, 000 odd Rs.
    I just want to know from tata motors that I never heard that fuel injectors to be change on 18000 Kms.and this could be manufacturing defect and if this is so it needs to replaced free of costs instead of 10000 Rs on addition of 7000 Kms which I have already paid.
    I owned three cars from tata which are:
    1. Indica GLG petrol-2006
    2. Tata Safari EX-2007
    3- Tata Indigo CS-2009

    If I am so loyal to tata buying so many products Including two Air-conditioners
    Why They are not listening to me.
    If I could buy so many cars I could have spent above said money as well, but only if it genuine.
    I re-iterate that this is imperative for tata motors to listen my problem and do the needful, If they think I hadn't made any mistake relying on tata motors.

    Default complaint related after sales service of tata motors

    We wish to inform you that i MR.INDER RAJ owner of vehecal no MH.03-DJ-3644, i was facing d probleb of belt noice from long time i hav bought my car to ur wagle estate branch , thane n get the worked done related to the belt noice and other on dated 01-12-2009 and paid an ammont of rs. 5000 (approx) and was assured that futhur my problem will be solved n i wnt b facing the problem again but on the very second day i am again faceing with the same prombem, as an so i telephoned my service advisor MR.AMIT and discussed my problem with him as he asked me to get the car to thane wagle estate , the very same moment i reached d garadge dated 11-12-2009 by 11.30am approx, he attended my car n kept me waiting for one hr as after v went for an test drive were i could not listen the same voice but the moment i lft from the place and i reached mulund the same voice with more volume than before again started as i called our advisor again by 1.00.pm on the same date and was asked to get my car again .
    i am TATA coustome from last 15years n geting my worked done from thane fortune motors, wagle estate, from past many years, as i had many more complaints with the service provided by fortune motors,thane. but bcoz of good n long relations i alys jst neglected my complaints. As your senior service advisor MR. SOHIL n others alys force me n other customer to fill the feed back form only with possitive remarks as we take an innitiative to give even single negetive remark related to quotations, rates, service etc they come on negociation on bill n bribe us by giving disscounts n asks us to change our view.
    sir kindly look into my matter and get my work done , your earliest reply will be heighly appriciable.

    Default Service Discrepencies of Tata Motor

    Dear Sir,

    My car model “Indiago GLX” bearing registration no. RJ-20-CA-2376 was
    repaired on 16.11.09 at your authorized service center M/S Chambal
    Motors (P).Ltd, Kota. Repair was billed vide invoice no.
    Chambal-KT-0910-06380 dated 17.11.09.



    The car was personally handed over to your above authorized service center for check
    & repair following continuing problems in addition to general check up. The status
    of specific problems which was claimed attended is as follows:



    Start up problem: I am facing cold condition starting problem in my car since more
    than three months. In morning the car does not get start unless 20-25 continues self
    cranking is not applied. Some times abnormal noise was emitting inside bonnet. It
    was immediately brought in notice to your authorized service provider with a request
    for check & corrective measures accordingly. On demand car was sent to your
    authorized service provider. After check it was told to me to get battery replaced
    which is responsible for such miss operation. The car was then taken to local
    authorized dealer of “Exide” for replacement. As per routine practice the battery
    was checked before replacement by Exide dealer. It was surprising to me that battery
    was declared O.K. This was a contradictory statement between your authorized service
    provider & Exide dealer. To verify & clear out the differences, he offered his
    service battery on chargeable basis. The battery was replaced with service battery.
    The trial with service battery showed no difference. This trail was for a week. This
    was again brought in notice to service provider of Chambal Motors (P) Ltd. with all
    the details & findings. Finally it was re concluded by your authorized service
    provider to re check.

    Car was handed over to your authorized service provider M/S Chambal Motors (P) Ltd,
    Kota on 16.11.09 to check & correct. (Please check job card details). With
    delivering vehicle on 17.11.09, it was confirmed by service provider of your
    authorized service provider that this problem has been attended, rectified and
    checked also.

    On 18.11.09 morning again I experienced same cold starting problem as earlier. It
    was immediately brought to the notice of Mr. Sunil Thakur, Chambal Motors (P) Ltd.
    As usual it was demanded to bring car at service provider for check up. I expressed
    my inability to bring car because of my preoccupancy. Again in late evening on same
    date, similar starting problem was faced. It was again apprised to Mr. Sunil Thakur
    on phone.

    On 19.11.09 morning also it showed same problem & again it was brought to his
    notice. I requested him to organize & depute an authorized competent person in the
    morning to access & understand the problem. However again on 20.11.09, it showed
    same problem in morning & again it was brought to his notice. He replied to come
    back on this issue in due course.

    On 21.11.09, morning start up, I did not face problem. The same was also
    communicated to Mr. Sunil Tahkur, General Manager, Chambal Motors. He recommended
    waiting & watching. Problem is still pending. At1.00 PM the same stating problem I
    faced while going back from my office. This was immediately informed to Mr. Sunil
    Thakur, General Manager, Chambal Motors, Kota & requested to verify. However he
    expressed his inability to immediately arrange his technician to verify. This was
    postponed by him on next.

    I request to the official of TATA Motors to immediately fix up the responsibility &
    rectify same. I am continuing with this problem since more than three months. I am
    continuing to drive my car in uncertainty.



    Fuel injection pump damage: This was happened with me few months ago, which I would
    like to apprise to the official of TATA motors for getting reimbursement of my
    payment.

    Few months back my car’s fuel tank developed a leak. It was brought to your
    authorized service provider M/S Chambal Motors (P) Ltd for repair. It was repaired
    (Record may be verified).After some time again a leak got developed at same
    location, which was repaired (Again record may be verified) by your same authorized
    service provider. Subsequently when it again leaked third time then fuel tank was
    replaced as per advice of fuel tank was replaced as per advice of your authorized
    service provider. During the job of fuel tank fixing it was informed by your
    service provider M/S Chambal Motors (P) ltd that fuel injection pump nozzle is
    broken & it is to be replaced in complete. On my query in regards with reason of
    breakage when vehicle was running, the reply of service advisor was negative &
    surprising. He replied that during dismantling it was found broken. As per him, it
    was not possible to repair the broken nozzle hence complete assembly has been
    replaced & billed to me.

    In this whole issue I was unable to understand that in fuel pump nozzle broken
    condition, how the vehicle was running As there was no option other than this, I got
    it replaced.

    I request officials of TATA Motors to investigate and conclude this serious case at
    the earliest so that reimbursement can be made to me.



    Steering horn pad damage: The damage to horn pad occurred during service some 3
    months back. While taking delivery of vehicle it was observed that its steering pad
    was detached. It was immediately brought in notice to service provider then it was
    put back by him. Subsequently after a few Kms run it was observed that horn pad is
    malfunctioning. As it was a matter of road safety, immediately brought in to notice
    of concerned service provider. On his demand the vehicle was brought to your
    authorized service provider for rectification. It was again re fix with some make
    shift arrangement with an instruction to me by concerned service provider that if it
    happens again then please get replaced the complete steering wheel. Again after
    some few Kms of run it starts malfunctioning. This was then brought to notice of Mr.
    Sunil Thakur, General Manager of Chamabal Motors (P) Ltd. & he accepted for free
    replacement as this got damage during their servicing.

    It was also brought in notice of Mr. Kohali, Chambal Motors (P) Ltd on 17.11.09. As
    per him, this type of damage during service is cost to the customer, which is not
    desirable. It was very surprising reply from such a senior person of your authorized
    service provider I request M/S TATA Motors for immediate free replacement which is
    still pending.



    Damaging FR LH window glass steering system: The problem in smooth operation of
    front LH window glass was attended & billed on 24.08.09. On delivery it was observed
    that the problem is not rectified. This was then brought in notice of concerned
    service provider M/S Chambal Motors (P) Ltd., Kota...It was assured to rectify in
    next service because of time constraints. Again on 16.11.09 the same was offered for
    rectification. In the evening 6.00 P.M I was told by service provider that “Nukka”
    of window glass operating mechanism is broken & complete assembly will be replaced
    at the cost of Rs. 3580.00. I was shocked to hear for such cost which, I feel this
    got damaged during their inspection & it is totally an in competency of your
    authorized service provider & should not be cost to the customer.

    I request to the official of TATA Motors for free replacement.

    Default Complaint against non delivery of Indigo Tata Manza aqua

    Hi Sir/Mam,

    Myself Sudhir Chouhan have booked Indigo Tata Manza Aqua to Raghuvanshi Motors,ZB-11/487, Main G.T.Road, Dilshad Garden, Delhi - 95, on 24 Jan 2010 after a commitment from Sales Team that car will be delivered in next 15 days.

    But till date i have not record receipt of my car, and on top of that when i had spoken them today they are clueless when they can deliver, as per them production for captioned model is not happening because it is less in demand.

    My margin money and the loan amount is already disburssed to Raghuvanshi Motors.

    Requesting you to raise my voice at appropriete level to help me to get the delivery as soon as possible.

    Default Mechanical Defect on TATA INDIGO MANZA

    I booked a INDIGO MANZA car in month of December and after one and a half month of waiting I could finally lay my hands on the car on 31st January'2010. Now after 10days 10th January'2010, the car while driving got so much heated that the smoke started coming out the car. On stopping the car immediately I found the car had all amoke inside the bonnet and coolant was leaking from and the car. on the closer scrutiny I found the whole of the coolant had leaked. i donot know what caused the over heating and finally the car had to be towed to work shop. Now in evening after much pressing and putting the pressure on the dealer M/s Techno Automobiles Dwarka they have confirmed that radiator of the car was faulty and need a replacement. I wonder what kind of technologgy/product is being used in manfacturing this car.

    My concern is that why should customer be taken for a ride for such sub standard product when he has spent his money to buy a product his which as per the advertisement is world class. Now when I have asked for a replacement of this faulty car. The dealer refuses to do so and is only ready to replace the part. But does that mean that if tomorrow some other part becomes faulty and he will keep on changing and removing the original factory parts.

    Is it not the moral responsibilty of the manufacturere to recall the car and have a close scrutiny. As has been done by the World Leeader Honda for their JAZZ cars when they knew about the mechanical fault. Geetanjali Kumar9958200360

    Can some one please help me fight this case so that i may be spared of this mental agony which I am going through within 10days of the purchase. Who cares about my family who was travelling with me had this incident turned ugly if not detected in time. We need to reaaly act. Could some body advise how to go about it.

    me Ashiq Ahmad Sheikh purchase tata indiaca vista Quara Jet In August 2009.Due to accident there was some problem in my car.then i visit Tata Fair deal motors Srinagar Kashmir.But After Three Months They can not solve my problem .Every time they cheat me.now i kindly request you to help me.i dont Know what is wrong with me. i feel Bogus to purchase tata car.

    i have indigo lx 2006 model
    clocked 37000 kms
    its dash board has always been very sticky and absorbs dust and becomes dirty
    kindly suggest
